Aurora

I want you to give yourself to me, not just as my breeder…” I kept pondering on that statement. “What does he mean by that?” I thought to myself. I felt a heaviness in my heart as I continued to think deeper into what he said.

“Does he think I’m only with him as his breeder?” I clenched my fists as I continued my sparring session with Raven. Today, she joined me to observe my progress. For the few weeks, I have been training alone to get in shape with my routines, and it has shown in my overall fitness and durability.

So I was eager to show all what I have learnt on my own as she has been busy training the new recruits who were formerly rogues into the army. The situation along the border has gotten more intense so everyone is on high alert.

Unfortunately, I seemed to be off with my rhtym today. Instantly, I found myself face flat on the ground after a quick manuver she did to me.

“You seem distracted today, like you have forgotten all your training. I have gotten report that you have really improved, but yet you’re not fully present here today. What’s troubling you? Is anyone still given you a tough time here?” Raven’s voice became serious, she clentched her hands as her eyes were wide open waiting for a response.

“No…actually I have getting along with everyone in the palace. They are all friendly and more approving of me.” I replied feeling exasperated. Yet, Raven was still insistent on getting to the bottom of my troubles.

“As your trainer, it’s my duty to make sure you’re in top shape. I promised to make you stronger so you can achieve your goal…” Raven suddenly had a mischeivous smile on her face like she was waiting for me to finish the sentence.

“My goal…” I said sarcastically, Raven was taken aback with my response. But she regained her composure quickly.

“Are you no more interested in being by the side of the Alpha. Pls don’t tell me you have already given up like the others.” She waved her hands in disgust as she walked away from me.

Immmediately, I felt a wave of regret washed over me. Raven was someone who I respected so much and to see the glimmer of hope in her eys dimmed out. It was something I couldn’t just imagine in my mind.

“Not like that Raven, I haven't giving up. In fact, the opposite I have never been more sure of myself like ever.” I replied in conviction. Immediately, her demenaor shifted back into a postive manner.

“That’s what I’m talking about, you can do it!” Raven said with a tone of pride in her tone. I could sense she wanted me to succeed to become their Luna. I never allowed myself to ever dream of such of possibilities. But, over these past weeks. Spendinfg time with Darius has only made me more eager to win his trust and accept me.

He was by far better and more loving than Damon, who derived pleasure in making me sad and unhappy. I started allowing my heart to gradually accept him finally.

Yet, something crept into my mind. “If I may ask Raven, what did you imply by saying the others.”

Immediately I said that, her face turned pale like I just uncovered a dark secret. After several minutes, She finally mate my gaze and started talking.

“The Alpha made me swear not to tell you, but there are others who still reside in this pack who want to have their way with the Alpha. Some saw it as an avenue to build political alliance. While others are only interested in his looks and status. This had made him reject all their proposals to become his mate.” Raven took a weary sigh as she gazed intently in my eyes.

Her eyes welled up in tears giving her a sympathetic look. This was the first time I saw Raven like this. She was known as the ‘Ice queen’ for her unbothered reactions to high-level complications. She was known to be always calm every during battle but now she was different

Yet here she is, almost in tears talking about her Alpha. “This pack is one big family”. I thought to myself. As if though she read my thoughts, she immediately got her composure back.

“All I saying is this the first time I have seen the Alpha show any type of  interest in a female the way he does to you.” Raven said in a soft tone. Her words were so moving that I couldn’t control the tears rolling down my cheeks. It felt like that huge burden in my heart has been lifted.

I remained sitting on the ground as she followed suite to sit close to me. She placed her hands on my shoulders in a effort to comfort me. I took a deep sigh as I met her gaze.

“Sometimes I feel, he only sees me as an obligation. Like I was just brought here to serve only one purpose. But hearing you today, re-ignited my will to prove to him I’m more just a breederr. I’m here to stand by his side against his enemies.” I said it with resilience in my voice.

Raven curved her lips slightly as she gazed at me. “ One thing about the Alpha, is he has a tough exterior as he has faced a lot before he got to this position. But I assure you, his not someone who can be forced. You’re only here because he wants you here.” Her hand on my shoulder felt re-assuring. Like that was the exact thing I was meant to here at that moment, I felt my resolve surge up like never before. Just, as I was cleaning the tears on my face. We heard a deep baritone behind us.

“I hope you’re not talking about me, Raven.” My heart beat skipped a beat as we turned around to the familiar voice of Alpha Darius.

Darius“Damon, what’s he doing here?” I asked myself. It wasn’t uncommon for Alphas to visit other kingdoms unannounced. However, due to the last conflict we faced. It has already increased the cold tension between our packs.Meanwhile, I found myself in turmoil. "What were his motives? Could it be about...” I mumbled to myself. Within quick seconds, I slightly loosened my grip of her hands, and she dashed off before I could say anything to her.I watched her retreating figure and took a deep sigh as a beautiful moment was interrupted by none other than Cameron again.“Cameron!” My wolf growled, getting ready to lunge at him. I shot him a dark glare, which took him aback. He immediately knelt on one knee with his head slightly bowed down.“My Alpha, forgive my interruption. I will accept any punishment you give to me.” He said in a serious tone, which took me aback.I stared at him for a few minutes before I managed to restrain my wolf. I took a weary sigh and replied, “You should tie

AuroraLooking at Alpha Darius at the gym brought back all the pain I faced while I was still in Moonfall pack. The constant mind games and manipulations. Constantly treating me like a personal pet.“I know Darius is different, but sometimes he can really push my buttons.” I thought to myself as I saw the smug on his face. He had a cheeky smile which infuriated me more. I didn’t even realize when raven was trying to signal me to greet him. At that moment, I wish I could wipe that smirk off his face. But, I know that was the end of me. I regained my composure and greeted him respectfully. Before he left, he had a puzzled look on his face, like he had no idea what he was saying to me. Suddenly, I felt a tap on my back.“What happened, did something occur between the two of you?” Raven had a befuddled look on her face. I didn’t have the words to express what I felt in my heart. I could only nod my head in denial. Raven could tell there were some things left unsaid but decided to let them

DariusI walked into the palace from my usual morning exercise. As a hybrid Alpha, I don’t really need to do work-outs to keep my self in shape as I genetically have a muscular physique with good metabolisms. I still have to keep my strength and endurance so as not to appear weak to anyone who is willing to challenge me.I was enjoying the humming sounds of the birds in their nests in the trees. It gave me an harminous feeling and relief hearing their beautoful sounds. It really kicked start my day in a happy mood.“Good morning Alpha.” The workers greeted me in unison as I walked past them as I tried to follow the humming sounds.“Thank y'all.” I said with a broad smile on my face. This took them with surprise as they gasped in awe. I wasn’t known to have a warm personality especially among the people who worked in the palace.I tried to remain fair and unbiased while giving them orders. But, I tried not to get too friendly with them. So, when I answered them in a joyful manner they

AuroraI continued my training drills that she taught me some weeks back. I also noticed my body slowly changing. I no more felt like I was underfed, also during these few weeks I started to feel like myself. My body was toning up nicely, and from the stolen gazes all around the palace. People were also taking notice. “I wonder if he also observed my body changes.” I thought to myself.Just the thought of him alone checking me out made my cheeks turn pink while blushing. I quickly snapped back before anyone caught me. I returned to my stances. I continued practising with my plastic batons, I always came to the gym early, so I felt free stretching my arms and legs in full swings.Suddenly, I threw my arm aggressively in the air. I felt someone catching my baton.“Be careful how you swing it, you might encounter someone.” Darius said in a calm voice. I tried to release my baton from his hand but it proved unsuccessful. This only amused him even more.“I know what I’m doing.” I pouted. W

Damon“Here you are!” I curved my lip slightly. Ember feigned ignorance since the news of the issue with Aurora. I could sense her awkwardness around me as she tiptoed around me.“I dunno what you’re trying to imply, but I only mean that low-life doesn’t deserve all this much attention. It’s best we forget about her once and for all.” Ember said with an unconvincing voice.I looked at her for some few seconds without replying, Finally, I took a weary sigh. “ Aurora means nothing to me, I’ve told you this many times. Clashing with the Silverfang pack right now isn’t beneficial to us.” I told her in a sharp tone. Discussing political objectives wasn’t among the list of things I wished to discuss with her Yet, I found myself doing the exact same thing. My wolf was already exasperated with all the chaos and just wanted us to leave. But, I knew if I stepped out, it will only worsen the entire situation.“I keep saying this to you. YOU’RE MY LUNA!” I snapped. Ember was taken aback, but she
