POV Omega Gavin Walking to the far West boarder I came to the hollowed out tree. Removing the bag that I had hidden there. I removed my contacts and placed them in their case. Stripping off my close I placed them in the bag before stuffing it back into the tree trunk. I needed to run, I couldn’t stop the distain from building up. POV Thea Jason pulled around the corner of my street, stopping in front of my house to let me out. Candice came out in her hot pink scrubs, taking one look at the car. “Again.” She said with a heavy sigh. “Ya, I told him I would help him sand it down this weekend.” I told her. POV Aiden Thomas found the girls easily and sent them home. It was no secret that there was no love lost between Omega Gavin and I but I did not wish him dead. The permanent lose of the ability to speak would have done just fine. I arrived thirty minutes or so after Thomas. Omega Gavin’s body had been visibly dragged from the spot the girls saw him by the tree earlier back into the creek. Whoever moved him did not bother to cover that fact. Rolling him on his back his heart had been ripping from his chest. From the lack of blood on the trail he was knocked out first and moved here before he was killed. Thomas crouched over the body. “We sure he’s dead. He was a heartless bastered before so I don’t think this should stop him.” “Show some respect.” I snapped at him. Thomas looked back at me with a stagnant expression. Omega Gavin would be missed by very few but he was still a member of this pack. “Wrap him up and get his remains to the morgue. I’ll go let his mate know.”

POV Aiden We transferred Paula to the clinic I had called in Miss Evens for any ideas on what could be happening to her. She arrived within the hour as expected carrying at least a dozen books. Elijah, Miss Evens and I all sat around the table in the break room. “Start at the beginning.” Miss Evens said pulling out a pen and a notebook. “Thea and Amira went swimming at the pond at the end of the creek. They noticed the blood in the water and followed it to find Gavin’s body. When Thea contacted me saying he was dead I didn’t believe her at first. Neither the Luna or I felt anything from him out of the ordinary. Not that I make an effort to feel for him.” I said rolling my eyes. POV Aiden Paula was still groggy from sedation but we hoped she could help us figure out what was going on between her and her wolf. Miss Evens and I sat in chairs next to her trying not to scare her anymore that she was. “Paula, can you hear me?” I asked. “Where am I?” She asked. “We moved you to the clinic and sedated your wolf. There’s some concern that Gavin’s death has effected her.” I told her. “Who is this Gavin you keep mentioning is dead. I don’t know anyone by that name.” She replied. POV Thea The pack buzzed excitedly at the arrival of Paula’s family. Strange to think how open everyone was to the idea that she had a whole other life outside of Omega Gavin. Amira and I got tasked with arranging the grandchildren’s rooms. We jumped at the opportunity to get out of the pack house. The Alpha and Luna have been a little over bearing. I know losing Eric has made them overly cautious but the mere fact that Omega Gavin died near us doesn’t necessarily put us at risk. Candice and Brent made the decision to quickly for me. They didn’t even think about letting me stay home. Now Amira and I are basically on lock down. We can’t leave the house even to go to school without warriors with us. Amira likes to pretend we are royalty who needs guards to protect us. Leaving it to her to find a way to make it fun. POV Joann Thomas pushed a connection with Aiden and I. “You’re going to want to see this.” He said before cutting the connection. A few minutes later we could hear Thomas pull up. Aiden and I waited in the kitchen, Thomas was never really one for surprises so we weren’t sure what to expect. The caravan of Black Moon pack should arrive any time now. I was hopeful that he had finally found his mate, he is so dedicated and devoted to this pack. He deserves to find his own happiness. With Paula’s family coming we had wanted to set up a dinner or casual party in case any of them or the warriors escorting them had mates here.
