Neither of my parents spoke as the words left my mouth. Of course, I didn't really expect them to since for as long as I could remember, they just simply assumed that I was a problem child.
Behind them, my sister's face had already begun to turn white with fear. This brought me joy. Especially after all the years I remained silent about her deeds.
"Are you sure about this?" Travis murmured close to my ear. "If it brings you pain or discomfort to relive, you can wait until you're more ready.
