Unknown

I’ve been waiting in these woods for over three hours, hidden among the shadows, my patience wearing thin but my focus unshaken. The damp earth clings to my skin as I crouch low, eyes scanning the landscape, ears attuned to every sound. The forest hummed with life - the rustling of leaves, the steady trickle of water from a nearby fountain, the soft thrum of deer moving through the grass. But none of those sounds matter. I’m waiting for one thing.

You better bring me his heart, her voice snaps into my mind, sharp and cold as ever.

Yes, my queen, I respond quickly, shutting down the connection before her voice can worm its way deeper into my thoughts. I can’t afford to lose focus now, not with my target so close.

I inhale deeply, letting the crisp air fill my lungs, calming the rising tension in my body. And then I hear it - the distant howl of a wolf, deep and guttural, echoing through the trees. My lips curl into a smile.

Finally.

She sent me here to retrieve a werewolf’s heart for her, a sinner werewolf, from that pack. The hunt has been long, but this will make it worth it. There’s a satisfaction that comes with this kind of mission, the kind that feeds the darker parts of me. And nothing will bring me more joy than delivering this heart to her.

I slip out from my hiding spot, moving with calculated steps. The forest swallows my presence as I make my way toward him. I’ve been studying this wolf for weeks, learning his habits, his weaknesses. He is one of the last remaining ties to her old pack. The one that was gone.

The wolf comes into view, his massive form outlined against the moonlit trees. His gray fur is streaked with black, dark patches framing his sharp face. He’s powerful, muscular, a predator in his prime. Jackpot.

Werewolves are lustful creatures, ruled by their primal instincts. My mission depends on exploiting that weakness.

As I approach, I start shedding my clothes, one piece at a time. The cool air bites at my skin, but I don’t stop. My long hair cascades down my back, framing my figure as I step out from the shadows, making sure he sees me. My shadow stretches across the grass - long hair, long neck, and legs that seem to go on forever.

The wolf’s eyes are on me now, watching, curious. The cold shocks my body as I step into the water, but I don’t let it show. I move slowly, deliberately, as if the cold is nothing to me.

“Do you want to join me?” I asked, my voice carrying across the water, playful, teasing.

For a moment, there’s nothing but silence and the low hum of the night. I can hear the bones cracking, the familiar sound of transformation as the wolf shifts into his human form. When I turn back to look, he’s no longer a wolf but a man - tall, strong, and utterly captivating in his rawness.

“How did you know what I am?” His voice is sharp, his eyes narrowed with suspicion, but there’s something else in them, too. Something darker.

I smile, letting the water glide over my skin. “You’re not the only supernatural being in these woods,” I said, my voice light, carefree. “Now, are you going to join me, or are you just going to stand there?”

He hesitates, doubt flickering in his gaze. But it’s only for a moment. His curiosity, his desire, it’s too strong. And just as I knew he would, he dives in after me.

The water splashes around us, but I barely notice it. My heart races - not with fear, but with the thrill of knowing how this will end. He has no idea what’s coming, no idea that I’m not here to offer him pleasure, but death.

And I can’t wait.

He swims toward me, coming really close. I can feel his manhood on my thigh. He looks at me with hunger in his eyes.

“It’s been a while since I saw someone in these woods. And a beautiful woman at that.”

I embrace him and look him in the eyes, seeking lust. With lust, my mission becomes easier. He leans towards me and kisses my neck, moving slowly to my breasts, taking one nipple in his mouth. I moan at the contact of his lips with my skin.

Werewolves are such hungry creatures. But I am hungrier.

I take his cock in my hand, pump it once, and then bring it inside of me. The surprise on his face quickly transfers into something else. He begins to thrust in me as I ride on him, waiting for him to be lost in the moment.

Our moans get absorbed in the sound of the water.

“I’m getting close,” he hissed.

“Me too,” I said and put a hand on his chest.

With one hard thrust, he comes inside of me.

Then, in one sharp movement, I penetrated his rib cage with my hand and grabbed his heart. As my hand is deep inside his chest, I remove myself from his cock, and lick the blood that collects near his mouth.

“Thank you for a great fuck,” I said, but there isn’t any answer.

RosemaryI’ve been living with the pack for over 3 months now, slowly adjusting to the rhythm of pack life. It’s strange how quickly everything that felt foreign now seems almost normal. When the new semester began, I opted for online courses, juggling my studies while helping Grace with her intel work. She taught me the basics of gathering information, though my role mainly involved handling the tech side of things. Grace and I became fast friends, bonding over long hours in front of computer screens and whispered conversations about the pack’s dynamics. But Nathaniel still held the title of my best friend, always there with his familiar grin, reminding me of the life I had before all of this.Nathaniel’s presence was a steady comfort. It surprised me when I learned he already had a business degree - he had only enrolled to find me. Now, when he wasn’t traveling with Dylan for Ethan’s business, he was helping me study, guiding me through the chaos of exams and coursework. There was s

GraceI gently untangle myself from Dylan, trying to slip out of bed, but his strong arms pull me back. He kisses my forehead softly, and I already know what it means before he speaks.“When are you leaving?” I asked, even though I didn’t want to hear the answer.“In an hour,” he sighed, the weight of it in his voice. “I’m sorry, darling. Ethan sent me on another mission.”I let out a frustrated breath. “I need to give Ethan a piece of my mind for always sending my husband away.”“Grace,” Dylan said, his tone gentle but firm, “he’s the Alpha. And our future Luna is in danger. We have to help, and you know it.”“I know,” I said, my voice quieter now. “I just… I miss you so much when you’re gone.”Dylan pulls me closer, his arms enveloping me in a warmth I don’t want to lose. He kisses me deeply, and for a moment, I can pretend like he’s not about to leave again. But reality comes back too quickly. After what feels like both an eternity and not enough time, we pull apart, and the moment

EthanI hesitate just outside the door, hearing faint music pouring out from inside. For a second, I think about turning back, about leaving things the way they’ve been. But deep down, I know nothing will change if I don’t make the first move. If I don’t take the risk now, this distance between us will keep growing, and I can’t let that happen. Not anymore.I knock a few times, and after a brief pause, I hear a soft “come in.”When I step inside, I’m struck by how different the room looks compared to the last time I saw it. The once-cluttered space has been transformed. The boxes are gone, replaced by fabric draped across the floor. Canvases of all sizes line the walls, some unfinished, some barely started. In the middle of the room is Rose, standing amid a dozen half-finished paintings. She looks startled by my presence, her eyes wide, caught between focus and surprise.“Hey, Ethan,” she said, wiping her hands on her jeans. “What are you doing here? Am I interrupting in here?”“No, o

EthanThe confession sends something sharp and hot through my chest, a rush of possession, of relief, of something far deeper than desire. She is mine.I don’t give her time to doubt her words. Instead, I lift her into my arms, her breath hitching as I lower her gently onto the floor. She looks up at me, eyes wide, pupils blown with anticipation, and fuck, I’ve never seen anything so goddamn beautiful.I kiss her. Again. And again. And again.Slow. Deep. Desperate.I kiss her until we’re both breathless, until her fingers twist into my hair, pulling me impossibly closer. My lips move to her neck, grazing the delicate skin there, feeling her pulse hammer wildly beneath my tongue. I drag my mouth lower, nipping at the sensitive spot just beneath her jaw, then down to her shoulder. Her skin is warm beneath my lips, and I savor the taste of her as I peel away her shirt, exposing more of her to me. I blink my eyes open, still groggy from the flight.“Are we about to land?” I asked, my voice rough.“Yeah,” he replied, his tone clipped but calm. “We’ll be landing in Moscow in half an hour.”I rub the sleep from my eyes and try to shake off the fog. “Remind me again, why are we here?”Dylan glances at me over his laptop screen, his fingers still typing. “Grace spotted something in Moscow’s local news. A man was found in the woods without his heart. It’s our best lead on Andromeda.”I nod, feeling the familiar weight of responsibility settle back over me. The thought of what we’re chasing, what’s out there, leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. As the plane descends, Dylan returns to work, and I’m left alone with my thoughts. When we step out of the airport, a driver from one of the largest packs in Moscow is waiting for us. RosemaryEventually, we fell asleep, still tangled on the paint-covered floor, holding each other. I woke to the sound of a faint knocking on the door. As I stirred from sleep, I noticed a smear of red paint on Ethan’s cheek. I smiled, wiping it off gently, and leaned in to kiss him softly.“Good morning, love,” he murmured, his voice still husky from sleep. The way he called me ‘love’ sent chills through my entire body, a warmth spreading deep within me.“Good morning,” I replied, my heart fluttering as I smiled back at him.The knocking at the door suddenly stopped, and I heard Grace’s teasing voice cut through the stillness. “If you two lovebirds finish fucking already, you’ve already missed morning training and breakfast!”We both chuckled, sharing a knowing glance. Standing up, we began dressing, the laughter still lingering between us. But before Ethan left, he pulled me close and kissed me deeply, with a passion that made my legs weak. • The Rose Luna   Chapter 32

DylanAfter breakfast, Alpha Dimitri leads us into his office. The room is vast, with high ceilings that make it feel almost cavernous. Heavy mahogany furniture fills the space, giving the room an ancient, almost oppressive atmosphere. Everything looks like it’s been here for centuries, well-maintained but undeniably old. Dimitri moves to a cabinet on the side, pours five glasses of expensive-looking cognac, and hands us each a glass. The drink is rich and smoky, a stark contrast to the cold air outside. We sit around the massive desk, and Alpha Dimitri takes his place in the large chair behind it. He sips his drink slowly, tapping his fingers on the polished wood, the sound echoing in the quiet room.“Well,” Dimitri began, his deep voice heavy with a Russian accent, “business before pleasure, as you Americans say. Let’s discuss the reasons that brought you here.”Nathaniel leaned forward, his tone serious. “Alpha Dimitri, our intel informed us about the man found in the forest, and w

RosemaryThe potion is finally ready and there’s a full moon tonight, and I can’t keep anything down. Amber’s herbs, meant to help me relax, feel utterly useless as I threw up for the third time this morning. I didn’t realize my nerves could hit me this hard. I’m trembling, not just from the nausea, but from the fear of what’s coming.Today, Nathaniel and Dylan are returning from Russia, and I know Grace is just as on edge as I am - though for different reasons. She hasn’t seen Dylan in almost three months, and lately, she’s been more flustered than usual, making jokes about being hornier than a teenage boy discovering his sexuality. I can’t help but laugh at her bluntness, but there’s a part of me that’s afraid they won’t make it back in time for my shift tonight.I need Nathaniel. He’s been my rock through all of this. The thought of going through the transformation without him by my side terrifies me.Ethan and I have grown so close these past three months. I’ve seen the different

EthanI couldn’t take my eyes off Rose. Time felt irrelevant, minutes stretched into what could have been hours. The rhythmic beeping of the machines and her shallow breaths were the only signs of life. Her once-vibrant skin looked ashen, and her body, so still now, carried the weight of something unknown, something dangerous. The confusion, the fear, it all swirled around me, suffocating me as I waited for answers that I feared might never come. The door creaked open, and Nathaniel stepped in, still dressed in his wedding suit, though he’d ditched the jacket. His disheveled appearance mirrored the chaos that had erupted in our lives. His usually playful demeanor was absent, replaced with something somber.“We can’t find Amber anywhere,” Nathaniel said, his voice low, burdened with a sense of failure.“What do you mean you can’t find her?” I shot back, my voice rising, a desperate edge sharp

EthanAs Nathaniel and Liam’s kiss ended, they leaned into each other, their foreheads touching, lost in the intimate silence of their love. The clearing was filled with the sounds of cheering, laughter, and celebration, but at that moment, it felt like time stood still for them. I moved forward, ready to embrace my best friend and share his joy, but the atmosphere suddenly shifted. A loud scream pierced the air, shattering the peaceful moment.I whipped around and saw Rose on her knees, her arms wrapped tightly around herself, her face contorted in pain. Fear gripped me, my heart pounding as I sprinted toward her. By the time I reached her, she had collapsed, unconscious, her body limp in my arms.“Rose!” I shouted, my voice thick with panic. I gathered her into my arms, her skin cold against mine, her breathing shallow. My pulse raced as I felt a crowd gathering around us, their murmurs blending into a distant hum, but the only thing that mattered was the woman in my arms. Her face,

  • The Rose Luna   Chapter 48

Rosemary Today was Nathaniel and Liam’s wedding, a day the pack had eagerly awaited. The air was filled with excitement, love, and joy, but I couldn’t shake the unease building inside me. I had been feeling unwell since the morning, but I did my best to push through, wanting to be present for Nathaniel’s big day. Grace, always the multitasker, had taken on the role of wedding planner and was rushing around to ensure every detail was perfect. I tried to help where I could, but my body felt heavier, weaker than usual. The ceremony was set to take place in a secluded clearing deep within the forest, a place that seemed to be kissed by nature itself. As I made my way closer to the clearing, the breathtaking beauty of it all hit me. The sunlight filtered gently through the towering trees, casting a golden glow on the vibrant greenery that surrounded us. Wildflowers bloomed at the edges of the clearing, their bright colors contrasting with the deep greens of the forest. The smell of pine a

  • The Rose Luna   Chapter 47

DylanA strange quiet was settled over the pack, the kind that didn’t bring peace. It was the calm before the storm, the air thick with tension as we all waited for Andromeda to make her move. No one said it outright, but I knew everyone could feel it - like a predator circling, just out of sight. I had been in enough battles to know that this kind of stillness isn’t natural; it’s calculated. And if I could feel it, I knew Ethan did, too.Ethan’s always carried the pack’s weight on his shoulders, but lately, it has been different. There was a heaviness in him that wasn’t there before, like he was wrestling with shadows I couldn’t see. I was used to his relentless work ethic, the way he poured himself into every detail of running this pack. But it was more than that now. He was pushing himself harder, training with a single-minded intensity that would be impressive if it weren’t so worrying. I didn’t think he had slept a whole night in weeks.Last week, I caught him out in the training

  • The Rose Luna   Chapter 46

RosemaryIt had been four months since that night by the creek, the night I drank Amber’s potion, sealing away a choice I didn’t fully understand. I hadn’t dared return to that spot - not even once. The memory of it haunted me, the way the moon had hung so heavily, casting an eerie glow on the water as I swallowed the bitter liquid that was supposed to end everything. Since that night, I had felt different, altered in some intangible way, as though I had stepped into a shadow that followed me everywhere, clinging to my skin.My body betrayed me daily. Fatigue sank deep into my bones, the kind of exhaustion that sleep could never touch. No matter how many hours I slept, I always woke feeling as if I’d been carrying a weight all night. Even the simplest tasks left me winded, my muscles ached as though I’d run for miles. Every step felt heavy, as if invisible chains weighed down my feet. Something was wrong, and yet, I couldn’t find the will to question it. I had made a decision that nig

  • The Rose Luna   Chapter 45

RosemaryThe night of the full moon arrived, and I brewed the tea Amber had given me in a thermos, the bitter herbs swirling together like an ink-stained solution to all the chaos swirling inside me. As I stepped out into the cool night, I felt the familiar pull of my wolf, that instinctive desire to shift under the full moon, to let go and run wild through the forest. The urge was powerful, stronger than ever before, but I couldn’t give in tonight. Not until this was done. The moon hung high in the sky, bathing the woods in silver light, casting shadows that danced as I made my way to the creek I had found on my first shift. It was fitting, I thought, to return to the place where I had first felt the raw power of my wolf - where I had first realized what I truly was. But tonight wasn’t about connecting with my wolf. It was about taking back control.I arrived at the creek, the air cool and crisp against my skin. I sat beneath the familiar tree, the same tree that had given me comfort

RosemaryThe heavy fog in my brain slowly began to lift. It was like clawing my way out of a deep, suffocating pit, but eventually, I found my way back to consciousness. My body felt weak, like I had been wrung out and left to dry. My throat felt raw, as if I had swallowed sand, and when I tried to speak, no sound came out. My eyelids fluttered open, but the light was too bright, stabbing into my eyes, forcing me to shut them again.I tried again, this time more slowly. As my vision cleared, I saw him - Ethan. He was sitting in a chair right next to the bed, his head resting on the edge of the mattress. His face was peaceful, his chest rising and falling softly as he slept. A faint snore escaped his lips. Even in sleep, he looked so protective, so close.I didn’t want to wake him, but I shifted just enough to make him stir. His eyes opened immediately, concern flashing across his face the moment he saw me awake.“Rose, you’re awake!” His voice was filled with a mixture of relief and a

EthanI sat beside her hospital bed, my heart pounding in my chest. The cold, sterile atmosphere of the hospital was suffocating. The rhythmic beeping of the machines was the only sound breaking the silence, but all I could focus on was her - Rose, lying there, looking so small, so fragile. This wasn’t her. The woman I knew was a firestorm, full of life and strength. But now, her skin was pale, her lips cracked, and she looked like she was made of glass, ready to shatter at any moment.I leaned forward, brushing a strand of hair from her face. Her skin felt cool to the touch, much too cold. A lump formed in my throat as I struggled to contain the rising fear. I had never felt so helpless. I, the Alpha, the one who always had to be strong, was now at the mercy of fate - waiting, hoping, praying.Where had I gone wrong? How could I not have known? I replayed the last few weeks in my head over and over. Maybe I should have noticed she was more tired than usual. Maybe I should have stoppe

EthanAfter a long, exhausting day in the office, all I wanted was to crawl into bed next to Rose. Being near her had become something I couldn’t live without. Her warmth, her presence - it was all that allowed me to truly rest. But when I knocked on her door, there was no answer. I tried again. Still nothing.A strange unease crept into my chest. I turned the handle and opened the door to find the room cold and dark. A quick glance revealed the impromptu art studio she’d been using was untouched. Something wasn’t right. I decided to wait for her, assuming she’d show up soon, and sat down on the bed, scrolling through work emails on my phone. Slowly, exhaustion won, and I drifted into an uneasy sleep.A while later, I stirred awake. The room was still dark, and her side of the bed remained untouched. Panic started to gnaw at me. A quick glance at my phone told me it was 2 a.m. I tried to link Rose through the pack-link, but there was no response. I tried again. Still nothing. The knot
