Kyle.

I let out a small sigh as I threw the man to the ground quickly and without warning. He screamed when his leg, which I had shot earlier while he was trying to run away, hit the floor.

“Hmmph, fuck,” he cursed loudly, cradling his leg as if it were a baby.

He wouldn’t have gotten shot if he had just stayed seated in the car like I told him to.

“Do you know why you’re here, Richardson?” I asked as I walked toward the empty table in the room.

The place was stale, cold, and empty. It had been a long time since I’d been here. I dropped the bag, unzipped it, and began taking everything out. I wouldn’t need all of it, but it was more than enough to instill fear in the man sitting on the floor.

“N-no,” he stuttered, shaking his head.

I turned to look at him; he looked completely different from the polished man who had stepped out of the restaurant a while ago. His once-styled hair was scattered and dripping with sweat, and his face was smeared with blood and tears. He looked…perfect.

“You don’t know?” I questioned, shaking my head.

Of course, a little cocky bastard like him wouldn’t recognize his crimes; they don’t remember their actions unless someone brings them up. And that’s exactly what I was going to do—go over the list of things he had done.

I pulled out a picture and walked over to him, pushing it in his face so he could see it clearly. “Do you remember her?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

I wasn’t surprised when he shook his head, looking from the picture back at me.

“Wh-who is she?” he stuttered, and before I could process what was happening, my fist connected with his jaw again.

He let out a squeal like a woman and spat blood. Of course, he wasn’t going to recognize her, and I was sure he wouldn’t be able to identify any of the women he had molested if I started showing him pictures.

“Now, this is how we’re going to do this, Richardson,” I said as I walked over to the table and picked up a small blade.

I ran my finger along the edge with a small smile on my face.

“I—I will give you anything you want. Anything, just mention it.” It still hadn’t sunk in for him that I didn’t want his money.

“I don’t want anything from you…” I paused as a brilliant idea popped into my head.

He didn’t remember the women he had violated, the ones he brushed aside when they came forward to tell their stories. But that didn’t mean I had no idea who they were; that didn’t mean I couldn’t take action.

“On a second note, there’s something you can do for me.” His eyes lit up as if he had just won the lottery.

“Anything at all. Just tell me, and I will—” I cut him off before he could go on and on.

“I don’t want to hear anything from you again. The only thing you can do is nod or shake your head when I ask a question. Is that clear?” I asked while playing with the blade in my hand.

One of my favorite things to do is toy with my prey. I like to make them believe they can escape unscathed, that their money or whatever nonsense they offer will save them.

Richardson nodded his head eagerly, like a puppy. Good boy.

“You’ll transfer fifty million to this account.” The money wouldn't be able to take back what he has caused those women but I believe it will do something for them.

I watched as his eyes widened, but I didn’t stop. I dipped my hand into my jacket pocket and pulled out two phones. I opened my phone and typed on it before handing the other broken phone to him. He looked at it before taking it with trembling hands. He stared at the phone without doing anything, and I frowned. What was he waiting for?

“Do you need me to repeat myself, Richardson?” I asked, and he shook his head.

That meant he had heard me clearly, so why the hell wasn’t he doing it?

“Bu—but…” The word barely left his mouth when my blade dug into his thigh.

“Argh!!” he screamed, the phone dropping from his hand with a loud clink, which annoyed me even more.

“What did I just say about you speaking?” I asked, waiting for him to say something stupid. Like the fool he was, he did.

“I—I…sorry…arrgh!!” I pulled the blade out and stabbed the same spot again.

“You still have a long way to go. But before we continue your lesson, transfer the money.” He bobbed his head up and down, and with a shaky body and tear-stained face, he bent down to pick up the phone.

It took him over ten minutes to transfer the money. Once I received the alert, I pulled out the information about the women he had assaulted and sent everything with the money to Hannah. She would know how to handle it.

Once that was done, I pocketed both phones and smiled.

“I…I have done what you asked. Can—can I go now?” It appeared this stubborn asshole hadn’t learned his lesson yet, but that was alright, because I was more than capable of teaching him.

****

I let out a low hum as I rinsed my bloody hands in the sink, my whole body boiling with anger. It didn’t take long for me to teach Richardson “a lesson” as Hannah wanted. Although I wanted it to last long enough to make him feel pain, I didn’t have the time for that. My blood boiled with the urgency to get out of this place as soon as possible. From his yells and cries, I was sure he had learned his lesson.

After this, he definitely wouldn’t dare to look at, touch, or say lewd things to women who hadn’t given their consent. I picked up a dry rag and wiped my hands until they were clean. Ignoring the man lying limply on the ground, whimpering softly, I stepped out of the room. Blood was everywhere, and his hands lay motionless beside him.

One wouldn’t believe he was the same man who had been so obnoxious only moments earlier. I took out my phone and quickly typed a message to Hannah. Only after receiving a reply did I grab my bag and leave the room. The cleanup crew would deal with this mess.

My business here was finished.

~

The drive home was quick, and as soon as I entered, I went straight to my room for a quick shower. I changed into fresh clothes after burning the ones I had worn before. I felt overwhelmed with anger and longing—emotions that seemed uncontainable. There was only one person who could help me keep these feelings at bay, and I needed to see her. Now. Even though I couldn’t touch her or get close, just seeing her would be enough.

Kyle.My target has finally settled in one place after moving around. It was difficult to follow him because I never planned this, but it was easy to locate him since he wasn’t in bed like everyone else. I watched him walk around with two men beside him through my monoculars. I wanted this to be as simple and easy as possible so I could get back to the house before anyone noticed I was gone.I left the house around one o'clock, and the time is now three, which means I have two more hours to wrap this up before everyone starts waking up in the mansion. To achieve a quick and non-taxing job, I have to use a gun—something I absolutely hate doing. I usually prefer to torture my targets, letting them experience the feeling of dying while still being alive, all while explaining to them the reason for their suffering.I relish the fear in their eyes when they realize that no one is coming to save them. I dropped the binoculars and loaded my gun, attaching the silencer before getting into pos

Kyle.I rushed out of the kitchen as if my foot were on fire. I was hard and angry with myself; I couldn’t believe I had just done that. What is wrong with me?Why would I do something like that and then expect her to act like none of it happened? How can I expect her to stay away from me now after what just took place in the kitchen? What I did was impulsive and stupid. I shouldn’t have fallen for that temptation. I knew that seeing her in her nightdress, looking like a temptress, I wouldn’t be able to leave unscathed. She was incredibly tempting, and I was struggling to control myself—not just because I wanted to kiss her and be with her in that moment, but because I wanted her for who she truly is. I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s the truth of it. I just want to hold her in my arms and show her how much I’ve wanted her, but I can’t do that because I’m a jerk who can’t be seen with her because of my past.I hated overthinking this, and I feared my heart would burst from

Emilia. I couldn’t sleep. I tossed and turned in bed, and no matter how many times I tried closing my eyes or counted to fifty, I remained wide awake. My mind kept replaying the image of Kyle drinking from my glass, using the same spot I had just used before. I can’t even find the words to describe it.Watching him do that while holding my gaze was the hottest thing I had ever seen. I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to be kissed by him; I imagined his eyes staring into mine the same way they did while he was drinking. No matter what I did, I just couldn’t push that thought from my mind.Letting out a sigh, I glanced at the alarm clock; it was almost midnight, which meant everyone else must have been asleep by now. I threw the bedcover off and got out of bed, not bothering to put on my flip-flops because I didn’t want to make any noise. I pulled the door open and stuck my head out first to make sure no one was in the hallway. Once I was sure the coast was clear, I stepp

  • The Rossi Brothers III — Alessandro   Chapter Fourteen

Kyle. Who are you? The question echoed in my mind as I was pulled back into the past. I could feel it gripping my heart, forcing me to revisit memories I’d rather forget. Honestly, I didn’t have an answer. I had no idea who I was. Yes, my name is Kyle, and I work for the Rossis, but beyond that, I don’t know who I am. I suppose I could say I am one of them, but I don’t want to associate myself with that name. It wasn’t there when I needed help; it wasn’t there when I needed someone to stand beside me. So, I stared blankly at Luciano, wondering why he was asking me this all of a sudden. We had worked together for years, and now he was questioning my identity? “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I finally said after a long silence. If there’s one thing I hate, it’s someone reminding me of my past—the failures I’ve experienced. I don’t take that lightly, especially not from someone like him. But starting a fight with Luciano would be foolish. “You heard me right, Kyle,” he sa

  • The Rossi Brothers III — Alessandro   Chapter Thirteen

Kyle.If I hadn’t admitted that I was a weak man before, I think this is the right time to do so. I was weak, but not because I couldn't fight or take action; I was weak for one person, and that person’s name starts with the letter ‘E.’I haven’t been able to recover from seeing her and having her in my arms, only for her to do this. I couldn’t stop staring at her as she came down the stairs, her steps light and everything in place. She looked absolutely gorgeous, and any man in his right mind would compliment her and let her know just how pretty she was. The dress she wore was top-notch; it only added to my discomfort.I haven’t been able to sit still since she walked down those stairs, the dress clinging to her body like a second skin. She looked like an angel—an angel sent to tempt me and make me reconsider the words I had said to her years ago. I tried to stop looking at her, to not let anyone know I was staring, especially since I was sitting beside kids, but that was an impossib

  • The Rossi Brothers III — Alessandro   Chapter Twelve

Emilia.Everything around me faded into the background as I locked eyes with the man I loved. It was hard to believe that he was actually here, in my arms. I held my breath, hoping this wasn't just a dream; I wanted it to be real.We stared at each other as if no one else existed. His beautiful eyes, the ones that always sparkled when he smiled, seemed to see straight through me, and for a moment, I felt exposed. I leaned into him, craving his warmth and the familiar scent that I had missed so much. I had thought I would never experience that comfort again, but here I was, not only in his arms but with my face resting against his chiseled chest.Gosh, he felt so incredibly hot.I blinked rapidly, jolted back to reality by the excited screams of Violeta and Elio behind me. When I looked up at Kyle, my heart sank as I realized he was no longer looking at me; his gaze was directed toward the kids, who were running toward him with joyful cheers.“Are you going to let go of me?” he asked i
