Draven broke the silence first.

“You need to sleep,” he said quietly.

Philipa let out a short, humorless laugh. “Sleep? After all that?”

“I’ll stay awake,” he replied. “No one will come near this room again tonight.”

She turned to look at him. “You sound very sure again.”

“I don’t make promises I can’t keep.”

For a moment, she simply studied him—the calm in his posture, the tension beneath it, the way his eyes never truly rested. This wasn’t arrogance. It was experience.

Slowly, she lay back down, pulling the blanket up to her chest. Her body was exhausted, even if her mind refused to slow.

“Draven,” she murmured.

“Yes?”

“If… if this mate thing is true,” she hesitated, then forced herself to continue, “what will you do?”

He didn’t answer immediately. He wanted to says The Moon Goddess had never mated him to anyone since his coming of age" Instead, he said “I won’t force you,” he said at last. “Ever. Whatever bond exists—or doesn’t—your choices remain yours.”

Her throat tightened. “Not

  • The Runaway Alpha Daughter:Christmas With The Ruthless Mate    The Secret Whimpers

Back at BloodFall Pack…Saxon stood stiffly in the study, his head slightly bowed in respect as he finished delivering his report. Devon sat behind the wide obsidian desk, fingers steepled, his expression unreadable—until the final words left Saxon’s mouth.“…the investigation is complete, Beta Devon. There is no doubt about it anymore. Jordan Kadel is not male. She is Alpha Kadel’s daughter, Philipa of Crestmoon Pack. She has been hiding in the academy under a false identity.”For a heartbeat, the room was silent. Then Devon laughed. It was low, satisfied, almost triumphant. He leaned back in his chair, eyes glinting with vindication. “I knew it,” he said softly. “I knew Kadel was lying. That coward thought he could outsmart BloodFall.”Saxon remained silent, though his jaw tightened. Devon rose to his feet, pacing slowly, already imagining the leverage this revelation gave him—the control, the power, the certainty that his earlier decisions had been right. But before he could speak

  • The Runaway Alpha Daughter:Christmas With The Ruthless Mate    The Escape Plan

Using the immediate chaos, as some of the staff hurried toward where the alarm was blaring, Draven moved swiftly and decisively. He grabbed Philipa’s wrist and pulled her along dark corridors, keeping close to the walls, slipping through shadows and blind spots he clearly knew by heart. Curious students were being ushered back into their hostels, night patrols guards shouting orders, boots pounding against stone floors. No one noticed them.By the time the noise began to die down, they were already back inside their hostel.Draven locked the door quietly behind them.Philipa’s legs nearly gave out. Her chest rose and fell rapidly as she struggled to catch her breath, her heart still racing from fear and adrenaline. Her hands trembled uncontrollably.Draven steadied her by the shoulders. “Breathe,” he said quietly but firmly. “You’re safe. For now.”It took a few moments before her breathing finally slowed. Only then did the weight of what had almost happened crash down on her.“What…

Philipa kept a careful distance as she followed him through the dimly lit corridors. The academy at night felt completely different—quiet, heavy, as if the walls themselves were listening. Torches burned low, casting long shadows that stretched and twisted along the stone floors.Draven moved like he knew every blind spot.He didn’t rush. He didn’t hesitate either. That alone made her nervous.Philipa pressed herself against a pillar when he suddenly stopped. Her breath hitched. For a terrifying second, she thought he had sensed her. But Draven only glanced around briefly before changing direction, heading toward the older, less-used section of the academy. Why here…? she wondered. The path narrowed, the walls older and cracked, ivy creeping through broken stones. This was not a route students used—ever. The air grew colder the farther they went, carrying the faint smell of damp earth and old magic. Then Draven stopped before what looked like an ordinary stone wall.Philipa frowned.T

Back at Crestmoon Pack…The heavy wooden doors of the Alpha’s study slammed shut as Kadel’s angry voice thundered through the room.“Do you think you are above discipline now?!” he barked.Kaden knelt in the center of the room, his jaw clenched, his eyes burning with defiance. His tutor stood by the wall, his face pale, one cheek still red from the slap he had received earlier.“I only did what he deserved,” Kaden said stubbornly. “He spoke to me like I was nothing.”Kadel’s eyes flared with rage.“You raised your hand against a tutor!” he roared. “Do you know what that means?”He stepped forward, lifting his hand to strike Kaden. Before his palm could land, Lyria rushed between them and grabbed his wrist.“Stop it!” she cried. “Have you lost your mind?”She turned to Kaden immediately, pulling him to his feet and inspecting him as if he were the one injured. “Are you hurt?” she asked softly. “Did he scare you?”Kadel stared at her in disbelief.“You are encouraging this madness?” he

Beta Delon and Gamma Phil sat across from each other inside Delon’s private study. The room was dimly lit, the tall shelves lined with scrolls, sealed documents, and worn records of past reports and records. A large wooden table stood between them, scattered with freshly delivered scout reports from neighboring packs. The air smelled faintly of ink and old parchment.Delon flipped through the reports with practiced ease, his expression calm but calculating. Phil, on the other hand, leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, his brows slightly furrowed as he scanned one document after another.“These scouts are getting sloppy,” Phil muttered. “Too many movements near the border and no clear reason why.”Before Delon could reply, there was a knock at the door.“Enter,” Delon said without looking up.The door opened and Saxon stepped in. He bowed respectfully to both men before closing the door behind him.“Beta Delon. Gamma Phil,” Saxon greeted.Phil nodded. “What is it?”Saxon approached
