"Sorry, sir. I promise to adjust my character," I replied, pushing back onto my chair as I gripped hard on both handles of the chair.

He let out a deep gasp, then pulled himself backward. "Well, the CEO, Mr. Orion, told me to give you a last warning, giving you a chance to fix yourself. I'm even surprised that he even let everything slide. If it were others, he would have fired them the moment they wronged him," Rowan said, sighing.

“Is that how everyone fears this man called Orion so much? I didn't feel a thing about anything to fear in him, or is it because his cute face had fooled me?” I thought to myself, staring at Rowan.

"Get those documents ready. These days, you are too slow in getting some jobs done. It's getting annoying," Rowan huffed with a fuming expression before walking out of the door.

"Annoying piece of trash. You want to stress the hell out of me, you want to work me out till stupor," I muttered with a deep sigh, narrowing my eyes with a chuckled.

Rowan was such a pain in the ass. The way he bossed around me was so annoying. Sometimes, he piled a bunch of work for me to finish in a day, which I will try all my possible best to make sure I finish before sighing out, going home worn out and hellishly stressed. I humphed, narrowing my eyes as I relaxed on my soft chair, completely exhausted and getting more frustrated by Rowan's words and how he bosses me around.

After signing out from work, I drove home, and just as usual, I laid on my bed. "If you got a heart attack, then I would just pull out my heart and give it to you," Caspian replied with a warm smile, which made me feel ecstatic. Then we both laughed.

Caspian wrapped his hands around my waist, then pulled me even closer to him. He brought down his lips, then with a soft voice, he said to me, "I love you, Laura."
