Surprised

An hour later, Emilia walked In, carrying a plate of food. Jennifer had drifted off to sleep already.

Emilia dropped the plate of food on the table and tapped her on the shoulder. Jennifer opened her eyes and let out a faint moan as she tried to sit up from the bed.

"Are you feeling sick?" Emilia asked, seeing how she was struggling to sit up.

"No, I'm just feeling weak with a slight pain around my neck." Jennifer replied. She sat at the adge of the bed and Emilia pushed the table closer to her.

"I'm going to tell my Boss about your health status. I'm sure you will receive medication before the end of the day." Emilia said.

"Please I want to see your boss. I want to thank him for saving my life." Jennifer requested.

"You don't have to worry yourself, I'm sure he will see you once he's back. Just take your food." Emilia said. "I will come back later to take the plate. Make sure you finish the food."
