I was so close! A slip away from revealing the truth to that woman about how I had reached deep inside her and pulled out the bastard she was carrying, but Linda snatched the phone from me in time.

Now it all made sense as to why it felt like she was specifically targeting me while ignoring Daniel and Linda completely.

Sure, Daniel's company had crumbled, his billionaire status evaporated, but that was precisely why I had married him. I had taken him from her, and stripping that away from him was like robbing me of my own identity.
