Chapter Fourteen

The rain started pouring.

Of course. The rain would really pour, especially when she needed it not to fall. That was how things worked sometimes, and although things like that would happen to her from time to time, it didn't mean that she still didn't think that it was a bummer whenever it happened. It was still a bummer, especially when she didn't bring any umbrella with her. She mentally took note to bring one next time because it would surely happen again, and for someone like her who didn't have a car yet, umbrellas were a must. She just didn't necessarily like bringing one as she would often forget about it, but now that the tragedy had already happened, she took note to be prepared next time.

"Hey, Tim, wanna hitch a ride? We're on our way back to Katipunan," one of the staff members asked after noticing that she was just standing there, hugging herself because of the cold, waiting for the rain to stop
