The day after the wedding, Benton had scheduled a news conference to discuss the quantum diffuser. He had also scheduled a little bit of a personal update. They were going to announce the wedding and the fact that they were happily married now. He was more excited about everything than he had been in his entire life. The more that they got settled into the compound together, the happier he was with everything that was going on.
The news had broken with her name, considering how many people had been charged in the crime and how many other people needed to come forward to receive the money that they had donated. Benton had set up a fund that would pay everybody back because there was no telling where the money had gone since nobody had any in any of their accounts. He didn't want people to have to pay for being nice. All they had to do was prove that they had given money to that particular campaign on go fund me and they would receive the money-back no questions

It had been three months since they got married, and now it was time for Benton's birthday. He was turning 34, and he knew at that time that a few months ago, he would have never really put any stock into how old he was. Now he realized that he was ten years older than his wife. Though she couldn't open her eyes, she knew that she was laying in a bed. She didn't know she knew that or what even a bed really was. Despite the amount of medication the doctors had been pumping her full of, she managed to start to wake up without them even realizing it.
