Vanessa’s POV

I was finally trying to have my rest after a long and stressful evening. I came out of the shower with my bathrobe, taking out a fresh towel from the cabinet to dry my hair as I stared at the nightlife from the balcony, drinking champagne straight from the bottle.

“They all seem happy” I said aloud followed by a long sigh, watching from the balcony as people moved freely and enjoyed themselves even though it was close to midnight.

Dropping the unfinished bottle of wine on the credenza, dragged my entire body to the bed as I crawled my drunk self to the middle, stretched out both my arms and legs to the north/south, east/west respectively of the bed, while my body was stayed at the center, I stared up to the ceiling counting sheep before I got bored and closed my eyes to sleep.
