CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT

It was noisy outside because today was the day of the Emperors' mating ceremony with their soulmate. I stood on the balcony, watching the happenings below, and everyone was busy getting ready. There were many hovers and others riding on Szol animals entering Zahiva City. So many outsiders had come just to witness a royal mating ceremony—something that hadn’t happened in a long time. Plus, since I am the soulmate of an Emperor, I heard rumors that their Goddess might appear to bless those present. I don’t know exactly how to feel right now, especially with so many Tarragons coming just to witness our mating ceremony.

But I am happy it’s finally happening—especially since I’ve already marked them. Today, I will become their official mate as part of the Tarragon species. I’m so excited, and I just can’t wait!
