Alexa

I sat beside Gabriel’s bed, lost in thought. The blonde man still had his eyelids closed, his breathing steady. Two days had passed since that cursed wedding day, yet he had not regained consciousness. The wound from Harlow’s attack had a severe impact on him.

It was understandable, since Harlow had torn through a vital point in his neck. If Mrs. Geeny had been late to help with the regenerative ritual, Gabriel might have died. Fortunately, he survived enough to go to the hospital.

I gazed out the window into the dark night. The night had grown late, and the time showed exactly eight in the evening. I had been here for thirty minutes, observing his unchanged condition. Regardless, my bond with him compelled me to ensure his safety, even if I was slightly reluctant.

While Gabriel and Harlow’s case was being discussed, Mr. Pascoe took over as acting Alpha. Until the matter of succession settled and punishment decided, nothing was certain. Even my house had to wait for the elders’

Alexa“What do you mean, Jack? Why are you apologizing?” I furrowed my brows, but Jack kept rubbing his face over and over.“I fucked up, okay? I admit it. Please forgive me. But I did it all for our goal.” Jack was still rambling, his words stumbling. His hands anxiously rubbed his reddened face.“What is this about, Harlow?” I asked Harlow. He jerked his chin toward Jack. I turned back to the man kneeling on the wooden floor. “Jack?”“I was the one who told your arrival to Alpha Gabriel. I know, I know, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I’ll do anything to make up for it.” Jack pressed his palms together, his back bowed low.“Oh, no…” I inhaled sharply, breath caught midway. I stared up at the ceiling and raised both hands into the air. The weight of everything exploded before my eyes and scattered into meaningless dust. With a long sigh, my body slumped into the chair. My back fell against it, as if holding myself upright was the heaviest task in the world.“That night you d

Alexa“He really doesn’t have a heart, does he?” Julius sneered, jerking his chin toward Mr. Moris. That morning, everyone had gathered at the abandoned old station near the club. A magical train, usually used by Mr. Moris for transporting goods, was now filled with refugees from Silver Moon. Out of nearly a thousand Silver Moon residents, only about two hundred had escaped Alastair’s siege. Three-quarters of them were women and children. At the front carriage door, Jo was busy directing people onto the train. Meanwhile, Mr. Moris stood silently smoking, leaning against a platform. Even to the very end, the man showed no signs of helping us. No wonder Julius was upset, but Harlow and I had accepted the truth.Harlow murmured low between me and Julius. “Let him be. Bringing someone who half-hearted into a fight will only be a burden to the troops.”“What kind of kingmaker is that?” Julius snorted. He strode to the last carriage and closed the door.“Is it true he used to train alpha ch

AlexaMrs. Geeny meant business when she said the mirror portal connected to the Southern Star Club. She connected us to the mirror in the men’s changing room. When I stepped out from the purple light, people had gathered around the fight ring area. The staff I recognized, including Jo, helped to apply first aid to the injured.I kneeled down next to Harlow while checking his condition. His right arm was bleeding from the elbow. Nothing remained but the cloth wrapping the wound.“Let me perform a healing ritual on him,” I said, my heart pounding fast.“Are you crazy? No matter how powerful you are, you won’t be able to grow a bloody hand from that!” Julius shouted beside me.“I have to do it!” I shouted back just as loudly amidst the chaos in the room.“And then what? You want to cut off your own hand to exchange it for his? If you’re thinking of performing black magic, I beg you, leave right now.” Mr. Moris snapped at me as he tightened the cloth around Harlow’s arm.“I would even tr

Alexa“Hurry! This way!” I shouted, directing dozens of women and children toward the western forest. The guards ran frantically, clearing paths to save as many as they could. Through the communication channels from several Gammas, the guards focused on their rescue. Even though I wasn’t officially Luna, they followed my lead. They didn’t even bother to check if Alpha Gabriel could give instructions. In my Lycan form, I charged at several wolves who tried to harm them. Near me, Beta Julius held off enemies from the left. We fought off the wolves who kept coming, trying to attack us in the western forest. From the protection of the guards, a woman I knew well ran toward me with tears streaming down her cheeks. Her hair was disheveled, and her dress was torn in a mess.“Mrs. Gertrude!” I called.Upon seeing me, she rushed into my arms. Her hands gripped my fur-covered arms, soaked in sweat and the blood of enemies. “Alexa! Please, Alexa, help my baby. She refused to leave. Help me convi

AlexaIn my physical form as Mythril, I swung my arm in a single, swift motion toward the man. My target was hurled across the room, crashing onto the coffee table with a loud, bone-jarring thud. As he went down, his friend lunged at me from behind, trying to sink his fangs into my neck. But I was faster—my hand shot out, seizing his tricep. With a sharp twist and a powerful spin, I slammed him into the display cabinet. Glass shattered on impact, and he collapsed in a heap, unconscious.“Go. Rescue everyone you can and lead them to Mrs. Geeny’s house. Prioritize the women and children.” My voice cut through the chaos with urgency. No matter the situation, Mrs. Geeny’s home would be the safest place to hide. It tucked within the thick, surrounding forest. The guard nodded without hesitation and bolted from the house with me. Both of us slipping from Darius Scott’s home into the chaos in front of us.The moment we stepped outside, the air was alive with screams and howls. This misery bl

AlexaHis aura dominantly took over the cramped room. Even several elders, including Mr. Darius, immediately bowed their heads. They lacked the courage to confront Alpha Alastair with direct eye contact.“If you choose me, then I will make sure you’re protected by a great power. I can protect you from the lord of darkness,” Alpha Alastair said, raising his hand to caress my cheek.“Don’t touch me!” I slapped his hand away from my face. “Were you conspiring with Mr. Darius?” I asked suspiciously.“Don’t mess with me, Alexa. I’d have liked some respect from you. I would forgive your accusation and rejection if you admitted your mistake.” He growled, stepping closer toward me.His tall figure towered over me in the oppressive darkness. Something about Alpha Alastair had turned colder. Even his gaze had grown sharper, with an overwhelming and chilling aura.‘Be careful, Alexa. I felt a different aura from him. He’s stronger than he was a week ago,’ Mythril warned, heightening my awareness
