Zane’s point of view.
The drive back to the bunker is a sombre one.
No one knows what to say to each other. I’m so pissed at myself for leaving Emily, but I know what Erin said is true. If I had been at the bunker today, they would have had to have killed me to get to Emily.
Two incredibly long hours later, we finally pull into the bunker; the garage doors have been blown apart.
“Fuck”, Jake mutters as he sees the devastation in front of us.
