I felt the cold water pour on my body and I jerked up immediately. 'Get up! You this stupid lazy bones!' I heard. I sighed. It was the woman that adopted me. I stood up from the wooden crap I called a bed. 'Have you done your morning chores?' She asked. She looked really red with anger. 'I'm so sorry for that,mother...' I said and that was it. I received a very hot resounding slap. 'You bastard! How many times do I have to tell you never to call me your mother? Okay! I get it. You're trying to piss me off,right? I'm not and I'm never going to be like that bitch you call your mother that abandoned you when you were born,okay? Geez! This girl is so annoying!' She said and rubbed her temples and left the basement. I curled up my body and started crying. She's right. She's cruel and heartless,but at least she wasn't like my mother who abandoned me when she gave birth to me. I heard the door of the attic open and it was him. The monster that made my life more miserable than it already was

'He was here!' He said through gritted teeth with his fists folded. With the look on his face, she could tell that it was none other than his sworn enemy, Keith.'*coughs* Where am I? Who are you guys? And how did I get here? I thought I died.' She blabbered and Derek gaped at her in awe. He didn't have the time to take a look at her face. She had oval shaped face which made her look really cute and babyish with round purplish blue eyes. Her lips were very reddish in colour, like blood. Her eyebrows were really thick and she had a lot of facial hair. Derek was speechless. She was really pretty. Even, saying she was pretty was an understatement. She looked like a goddess queen. Well, literally, she is. 'Umm? Sir? Who are you?' Catherina asked again and Derek came back to his senses. 'You're awake!' He mumbled and walked towards her to sit on the bed. 'How did I get here?' She said, pushing her eyebrows forward. 'I saved your life. Don't you remember?' He asked her. She closed he
