Nevea's eyelids quiver ever-so-slightly, adjusting to the light that entered her vision. Her hands instantly lifted to cover her eyes, but her movement was restrained. Then her eyes flung open, observing the strange environment she was in.

Something heavy was on her belly, which forced her to look, and she found a muscular hand. Nevea jerked her head to the side; shock engulfed her to see Zach sleeping soundly beside her.

Nevea brushed his hand off and attempted to escape, but her slight movement awakened Zach. Nevea swore when that man blinked; a thought flashed in her mind that he was illegally the perfect man who ever existed. But she pushed the unruly idea at the back of her mind.

"Why am I here?" Nevea asked calmly, although her heart was anything but peaceful.

"You are hurt. Sleep more." Zach tried to reach her hand, but the woman slipped away. "Don't move too hard, or you'll hurt your hand." He pointed at the chain that was attached to the bedpost.

    "Everything has been settled, Master." Gio talked while sitting far away from his master. "Have you found out about the other fairy?" Gio's body tremored because he did not get a whim of the fairy who messed with their place. It only meant that the fairy was not as clueless as Nevea. Perhaps, the fairy was here on a mission. "Unfortunately, I can't find anything, Master."Efrain, the master, waved his hand in the air producing a strong wind that went in Gio's direction. The wind managed to slice the skin on Gio's cheek, yet his loyal servant did not budge from his seat. Gio received the punishment willingly since he was not capable enough.     Raven rubbed his eyes after seeing Nevea sleep peacefully on the chair next to his bed. The woman appeared to be peaceful. Her hair which had now changed to brown fell freely on her back. Her chest kept rose and falling in a steady rhythm. The view that greeted him brought a content smile to Raven’s mouth. Gathering all his power, Raven changed his position to sit and face Nevea directly. He watched her intently like a fool in love. Oh, right. He was indeed a fool in love. It felt like years since the last time he saw her. So against his better judgment, Raven extended his hand to reach for her and feel her cheek against his skin.     After their talk, Nevea and Zach spend their time searching for a clue by hanging out in the library. First, they read each book that contains demons and fairies. But, all the information they got was far from what they had experienced. When they read the history of demons, it is always related closely to hell and another sort of religion. And about fairies, it was just a story of a bunch of cute little things. What they read was pretty much useless. Not even once they mentioned purity. Kindness was there, but the ridiculous rule about desire was not mentioned. At this point, they were desperate.
