Dean didn’t know what to do. He sort of understood why talking about her ‘finances’, as Aeden had put it, would upset her. But he didn’t think it was really as big of a deal as she was making it out to be. He knew he had to get her to talk to him again. When he saw her last night, something had changed for him. He had always noticed her but watching her looking at the stars had been different, it was like he was finally really seeing her and he never wanted to see anyone else. When Aeden woke up the morning of her class with Dean she was calm. She had made her peace with what had happened and had decided to just let him go. She knew it might hurt for a while but like everything else she had lost in her life it would be forgotten.
