Wyatt

I leave Cora’s apartment torn because I don’t want to leave her, but at least she’s calm, sleeping, so let’s deal with this bag of confusion shit, as I’m not the only one who’s feeling like there’s more going on that we are aware of. Then I can get back to her.

Hopefully, she’ll be in a better state of mind, or at least she will be when I tell her about what happened to that idiot Beta.

I stare at all the doors in front of me, but I have no idea which apartment to go to, except for the one that’s directly opposite Cora’s, as I came out of there earlier. I start to sniff the air for all the scents that have passed through the hallway and realize everyone is on the other side of the hall.

I open the door and look around to find that most people from earlier are congregated in the living room, sitting or standing in relative awkward semi-silence, eyeing each other with suspicion and curiosity.

I sigh as I close the door.

This is going to be fun. Not.

So many reunions and revelations happening....I wonder how Noah and others are feeling... Just a reminder, this and the Sofia and Cora convo are happening at the same time, hence the jumping back and forth because we're going to Sofia next chapter.

Sofia Corinna takes a deep breath as she tentatively takes my hands. She tries to keep her eyes open, but as the force of my power takes hold, she lets out a choked gasp and her eyes involuntarily close. It can be pretty overwhelming for people who haven’t experienced this before. Unlike what I’ve done with Gabriel and Tess, where I simply shared with them a potential future event from my own mind, I’m physically taking her and myself back to the memory that is hidden deep within her mind. She may not remember because of her age at the time, but I can still access it since she was part of it.I don’t travel back often because it requires a lot of energy and strength, but I have no choice. It’s important not only for her but also for me. I always knew it was barbaric from the random flashes that came to me over the years, but now that I have someone who was physically there, I can witness firsthand what it was truly like. I take a deep breath to prepare myself before I close my ey

Corinna I stare at the closet door with my mouth open, dumbfounded. “Stop staring and go!” She whispers forcefully, and I jump. Right, yes. I need to go and pretend to be sleeping, and then I can get out of here. I get into bed and assume the position I was in when I woke up and heard what I heard. I lie there with my eyes closed, trying to calm my breathing, but it’s difficult because internally I’m seething. I still can’t believe Tess. All these years, while I confided every secret, every fear, every vulnerability, leaving myself open and exposed only for her to lie to my face about who she is. I can’t believe I even allowed her to be around my son. Oh, Artemis, Elijah! “Calm yourself, child. I can hear your erratic heartbeats. I will explain everything later. I promise.” She softly whispers. There’s something about her tone that’s almost maternal, and for whatever reason, it makes me feel reassured, so I follow her advice by closing my eyes and taking a long, deep breath

Gabriel I arrive outside the apartment buildings first, followed by Wyatt, who stops and bends forward panting, ahead of the others. “I will never call you old again. Fuck, my lungs feel like they are on fire.” He says, chuckling, still trying to catch his breath. I shrug, feeling smug. “You’re not too bad for a half-breed.” After the bastard effectively killed himself, we all decided to come back here. Wyatt mentioned that Tess would want to know what went down tonight. He also advised both the Amazons and me to tell everyone what we suspect is going on, as it involves everyone, directly or indirectly. I thought about it for a moment, and yes, he has a point. If we are to start fighting back, then we all need to be on the same page. Fortunately, I know who’s at the apartment, and most of them I trust implicitly, so I have no problem telling them about Lycans. The Amazons, however, are a different story, which is why I need to have a quick word with Sofia.A low whistle from behi

  • The Tribe   Chapter 51 - Waiting.

Tess I’ve never been so anxious in my life! All this waiting and wondering is making me crazy, not to mention this stranger turning up at the front of the building is not helping matters. I don’t care what Sofia says, I am not letting that guy inside or anywhere near my girl. I continue pacing with my arms crossed in the lobby like a crazy person. “Is he still here?” Anne asks, making me jump. “Sorry.” She sheepishly says, her eyes going to the front doors. I nod. “Yes. He says he received a call from Robbie, stating that some of them are on their way back, so I guess we will find out then if he’s legit…” I trail off, wondering if that’s the reason she’s apprehensive. “Oh, I know he’s legit. I’ve already checked. He’s the reason why I couldn’t get into Alpha Wyatt’s pack, actually. I just didn’t expect the guy who did that to look like him. I thought he would look like a geek or something. Someone like me, basically.” She says, scrunching her lips together awkwardly. I tilt my h

TW - Minor themes of violence and torture. Wyatt Everything and everyone stopped after Gia dropped that bomb until the sound of a feral roar broke the stunned silence. “You whore!” The Beta yells, standing up, but doesn’t get far as Gabriel grabs him from behind, one hand on his neck, and the other holds one of his waving arms by twisting it behind his back. “AH! Let go of me!” He yells, making Gabriel and the blonde chuckle. Gia watches and simply shrugs while flashing him a victorious smile. “Well, you only have yourself to blame. You’re the one who enjoyed punching and kicking me while putting that pathetic excuse of a dick inside of me. What did you think was going to happen? Speaking of, thanks. Saved me the trouble of drinking silver or bleach. They do taste quite awful.” She said, making a gag noise. Jax starts angrily growling, licking his chops like he wants to kill and eat something raw after tearing it apart. I must say, it’s a little unnerving to see my Beta like th
