Chapter Nine

Didi’s Pov

A yawn escaped my lips as my eyes slowly flickered open. The first thing I felt was warmth, not the cold emptiness of my tiny room… but warmth surrounding me from every side, almost suffocatingly comforting.

Then came the strange tingling sensation crawling beneath my skin as I blinked repeatedly, trying to clear the haze and the fulginess clouding my mind.

My brows furrowed instantly, as I noticed that the ceiling was different. The color… the scent… everything! I sniffed softly, my heart beginning to pound.

This wasn’t my room….the smell of cedarwood, expensive cologne, and something dangerously masculine filled the air around me. My breath hitched as awareness slowly settled into my body.

Warmth, too much warmth and suddenly my eyes widened slightly when I realized I was trapped between hard bodies, powerful arms wrapped around me possessively even in sleep.

Oh Moon Goddess…Memories from last night flashed through my mind, making heat rush to my cheeks instantly.

The Alphas! I swallowed nervously, afraid to move even an inch as the steady breathing around me reminded me that they were still asleep.

Or at least… I hoped they were.

The drama from yesterday was real. Completely real. None of it had been some ridiculous joke my mind created. Walking into that party… feeling my wolf react not only to Jay my longtime crush but to the strongest Alpha triplets to ever exist.

Clearly, my life was no longer normal and somehow… it had all led me here. I could still remember Luca staying behind with Jay while I was practically carried into the Alpha West Wing Paradise.

Paradise, just thinking about it made my stomach twist.

Every wolf dreamed of stepping foot into this place at least once in their lifetime. It was a place where different packs and breeds gathered for events, celebrations, and meetings. Every wolf had their designated quarters… but the Alpha triplets owned the largest and most feared section of the entire mansion.

And now I was in their bed, Moon Goddess, help me.

I muttered a silent prayer before slowly trying to slide my body away from the warmth trapping me from every side. If I could just make it past that gigantic door, maybe I could breathe again…hopefully.

But before I could move another inch, a deep voice stopped me.

“I thought you were still asleep.” My heart nearly jumped out of my chest as Leo’s sleepy gaze landed on me. His messy dark hair fell over his forehead while his arm tightened instinctively around my waist.

“I…we wouldn’t have a problem if you just stayed like this,” another voice murmured lazily. My head snapped toward Luke, who was grinning with his eyes still closed.

Then his eyes slowly opened, amusedly. “We didn’t think it was a good idea leaving you alone while you slept.” My breath caught suddenly.

Warm lips brushed against the side of my neck, slow and deliberate, making my entire body tense instantly. Luca, His lips lingered against my skin while his hand rested possessively on my waist, pulling me closer against his chest.

“How did you manage to sleep so peacefully,” he murmured huskily against my neck, “while tormenting the triplets all night?” My face burned immediately as realization hit me.

Oh Goddess.

“I need to get out of here.” I tried slipping away from the bed, but Luca’s arm tightened around me instantly, trapping me against him with terrifying ease.

The escape I imagined suddenly became impossible..“You smell heavenly,” Leo muttered softly before nudging his nose against my shoulder, inhaling deeply.

My heart pounded wildly as I stared at the three flawless faces surrounding me. Any other girl would probably die for this moment.

But me? My life had officially become complicated. These men didn’t understand that. To them, this was fate… possession… desire. Their wolves were soothed by my presence. Their egos probably loved every second of this madness.

But I would be the one struggling, the one trying to survive whatever chaos the Moon Goddess had thrown into my life.

“I need to leave!” I half screamed, finally scrambling out of the bed. The sheet tangled around my legs, nearly sending me crashing to the floor before I realized something horrifying. My clothes were gone….

“What…?!” Luke smirked unapologetically from the bed.

“We figured out bodily contact was the only way to survive the night without losing control.”

My jaw dropped as Luca only leaned back against the pillows, staring shamelessly at me while I desperately clutched the sheet tighter around my body.

“This… all of this isn’t happening,” I whispered breathlessly, shaking my head. “I need time to take all this in.” Three pairs of glowing eyes remained fixed on me.

And somehow… that made everything even worse.

“Are you planning on rejecting us?” Luca asked, raising a brow at me. Even half awake and completely shirtless, he still looked dangerous. Out of the three of them, I could already tell Luca was the most mischievous… the one capable of ruining my sanity with just a smirk.

“I’m not going to reject any of you,” I answered softly. I had meant for the words to come out firm and unaffected, but instead my voice betrayed me completely. It came out breathless, almost shy, and the heat spreading across my pale cheeks only made it worse.

“I just… need time to process the fact that my mates are three ruthless Alphas.”

“Hey, that’s harsh.” Leo laughed softly before pushing himself out of bed. My breath hitched automatically as he stopped only inches away from me.

Moon Goddess! Why did they all have to look this unfairly attractive?

“There’s no more time to process any of those emotions,” Luke said calmly as he sat up on the bed, his deep voice instantly commanding attention. “This is your destiny, Didi. You’re tied to us now, and there’s nothing any of us can do about it. ”My wolf stirred restlessly beneath my skin at his words, reacting to the sheer dominance in his tone.

But somehow… my eyes still drifted toward Luca,

I had already noticed it. Out of the three of them, Luca’s words carried the most authority. The others listened when he spoke, even without trying. And for some reason… that terrified me.

“I bet you could use breakfast before being faced by the panel,” Luca said suddenly, winking at me.

“Panel?” My eyes widened instantly as I stared at all three of them. “What panel?” Luca chuckled darkly before standing to his full height and walking toward me.

“Being bonded to mates like us isn’t something trivial, sweetheart.” Before I could react, his hands slid around my waist, pulling me firmly against his bare chest. And instead of protesting… I melted.

The warmth of his body wrapped around me instantly while the sheet barely clung to my skin anymore, threatening to slip lower with every passing second and none of them seemed to care.

“Our mate,” Luca continued softly while brushing his fingers along my waist, “isn’t just anyone. History made that very clear.”

Leo stepped behind me while Luke’s dark gaze remained locked on mine from the bed.

“The mate of the Alpha triplets,” Luke added, “is meant to be the strongest of all respected, honored and esteemed.

The entire state will want to see you,” Leo murmured near my ear. “Because you belong to us now.”

The strongest of all….. That was exactly where the doubt crept in. Me…..Strong? They had no idea how broken and confused I truly was. My thoughts barely had time to settle before Luca tilted my chin upward gently.

“Don’t think too much,” he whispered. And then his lips crashed softly against mine, silencing every fear threatening to rise inside me.
