The palace physician had come in and was now done with King Cyrus’s examination. The medical treatment had taken a lot of time and the whole time, Sir Sule had not left the king’s side. After a thorough examination, the physician was finally ready with his diagnosis and it wasn’t good.
A part of Cyrus’s brain was affected and this was caused by the horror and the treatment that Cyrus had gotten from Tobias and Gedoni. From the diagnosis, King Cyrus wasn’t fit to rule his people anymore. His speech was affected and his illness looked like he had a stroke. He was immobile for most of the part and was going to need help for most of his everyday tasks.
He wasn’t fit to rule his household nor the kingdom nor the wolf pack.

The king’s carriage pulled up in front of Yemanja’s house and Emelda peeped out of the window to take a quick look at it. There was a moment when he tried to hold her hand but she jerked it away from him.In a way, Lucius felt responsible for it all, maybe he should have stayed in the carriage like she had asked him to, things got heated after he went into Yemanja’s house and Lucius felt as if that was why the situation escalated badly.The young king wanted to help her, to hold her, and to tell her that it was going to be fine, but he couldn’t because he didn’t even believe that it would be fine
