Alexis stared at the silent Alastair who, in turn, stared at his desk. He didn’t glance at her at all and judging from his silence he wasn’t happy.
When he finally moved his lips to speak he still wasn’t staring at her.
“Dirt”, Alexis frowned when she heard the nickname she thought was long gone. She thought
He gestured to the large door, leaving her to go the rest of the way on her own. Something she hadn’t expected.“You’re not coming?” She quietly whispered, a look of despair on her face.Agathus just shook his head and pushed her large frame forward. Her nose barely avoided smushing against the door as s
Alexis glared at the letter. It was of such good quality that it stood out against the wooden table.
With the letter once again tucked under her sleeve she made her way back to her, but life had different plans as she was suddenly grabbed by an ominous hand that shot out from a passing door, dragging her in with the element of surprise.“Ahhh!”- her mouth was clamped by long nails and suddenly she stared at a familiar beauty with shock. “Neteear?”
After that, Alastair was dragged off despite the scowl on his face.“I’ve told you Enflada, I feel no attraction to elves”, he complained right before he left.“Then you are clearly not a man” was Joshuas scolding, that Alexis just barely made out as she sat against the dressing tables chair.

After Alastair danced with Alice, he continued to dance with every and any woman who approached him, leaving a line of heart shaped eyes behind him as he advanced.Alexis felt those familiar pricks, that became sharper each time he took the hand of another woman. She wanted to be there, to dance with him, in his strong, warm-She felt a pinch
Alexis didn’t allow herself to be dragged this time and moved at her own will. Albeit, slower than Dwayne who strode forward with a face full of fury.As if timed, Alexis heard a loud commotion happening in the throne room as they neared it. Screams echoed across the halls, people rushed out, a few of them staying to watch the rest of the show.
It was a while before Alexis thought she had woken up again, but she hadn’t really, she was in a dream. She was in the secret garden that Alastair had showed her, studying with large books swamped across the garden instead of flowers. And then Alastair walked in, he looked exhausted with bags hanging below his eyes. Unfortunately, even in her dream he was still attractive.
