Third Person's POV:

The next morning, Isabel was roused from her sleep by a light knock on the door. Glancing at the clock, she realized she had a mere thirty minutes to get ready and head to her law school. Urgently, she sprang out of bed and hastened to the washroom to freshen up.

After getting ready in record time, Isabel swung open her bedroom door to find Mason standing there, leaning against the wall. He was already dressed in his office attire, and she couldn't fathom why he lingered instead of heading to his own office.

Without exchanging words and without waiting for him to speak, she pressed on, aware that time was slipping away.

"I've prepared breakfast for you. Let's eat first, and then I can drive you to your law school," Mason spoke, trailing behind her in an attempt to halt her departure.
