67. An Act To Hurt Me

Third Person's POV:

It had been a month since Mason's arms were injured, but now they were fully healed. The two of them were on their way back from the hospital after his last checkup. Instead of heading home, Mason took a different route, leaving Isabel perplexed.

When she asked about it out of curiosity, he simply said it was a surprise. Isabel couldn't fathom what kind of surprise he had in store, but she didn't protest. The mere fact that Mason was finally healed brought her immense joy.

The past month had been challenging for Isabel, watching Mason endure the injury caused by her. She made every effort to stay by his side, assisting in his recovery. Fortunately, she proved to be a great support and took care of him with utmost care. In the process, they grew even closer.
