Isabel awoke with a start, her eyes fluttering open to a dimly lit room. Gradually, the shadows surrendered to reveal the familiar surroundings of her bedroom. Yet, there was an unsettling weight in the air that lingered like a ghostly echo.

As the darkness reluctantly unveiled its secrets, a rush of memories flooded Isabel's mind, a chilling encore of terror. There it was—the moment she was coerced by Mason to pull the trigger. The room echoed with the gunshot, and then, a void. A blank canvas of consciousness.
