2022-02-12 05:06:44Previously, on the Unexpected, I'm very sorry to announce but I got nothing to say about what happened in the last chapter other than the camera guy and I, the narrator, who were too busy on the shooting star that we forgot about the story we're supposed to be shooting from the shadows due to the camera incident and possible repairs. The director wasn't very happy with our work so he called the backup narrator to do our work. He gave us a letter containing a script of the events from the last chapter, and wants me to read it in order to forgive us for failing in our job. I'm about to read it now, ahem! Min MinSorry for the late upload and being on hiatus for about two months now. I was busy with family stuff and creating the first arc of the novel. It wasn't easy and I worked hard in making this arc plot as interesting as possible. This may be a really high obstacle for me to climb, but it's worth a shot if I'm going to make this novel a successful one in the future. Previously, on the Unexpected, Dexter Gonzales was in the middle of telling a story about his relationship with his childhood friend, Shauna Fitzgerald. They were about to play a game of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" on his computer when Shauna misclicked something that caused a lot of pop-ups to appear and blocked the whole screen. Dexter called his dad to fix his computer while the duo settled downstairs for some snacks while they waited. His dad managed to fix it, left the room and they continued the game. Dexter talked about the history of the game which some of you might have grown bored reading so let's move on. They played the game correctly this time, and it comes down to whoever wins the correct hand gesture. Previously, on the Unexpected, Dexter Gonzales was mildly injured after the incident in the principal's office, rested himself in the infirmary when his fatigue kicked in, and was getting carried home by his best friend, Mark Jackson. Mark asked about what happened to Dexter back in the principal's office but Dexter couldn't spare any information regarding that incident because of Mark's bad habit of spreading secrets which led to more storytelling about Dexter's childhood friend, Shauna Fitzgerald. She is the daughter of Dexter's mom's best friend, and more likely Dexter's new aunt, and she has no chill at showing any interest in being friends with Dexter. She tries to be as rude to Dexter as possible during her visit to his house until she encounters a game of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" on his computer screen. Previously, on the Unexpected, Dexter went to the principal's office after he got sent by the professor-in-charge due to the first period class incident. He had a small talk with an odd, cute-sounding principal who happens to be the niece of the real principal that was soaked in water. The principal's niece had a fast attempt to escape the office until she got blasted back in and knocked onto Dexter, making them both pass out. He later woke up in the infirmary to recover from the impact and had a discussion with A.L.E.X.I.S. regarding the limits and boundaries of the power he possesses. However, he's still tired from the incident so he fell asleep mid-conversation, and someone unknown was in the infirmary with Dexter. Who could it be? We'll never know but let's get back to the story…&

Previously, on the Unexpected, Dexter and Mark got caught by their teacher for bringing in a catapult and using chemical balls to damage school property. They were waiting in line with the other students who also got caught before the first period. Dexter used this time to talk about his past with his family and best friend. His bond of friendship with Mark was phenomenal despite the hardships they faced while growing up such as getting expelled or hurt from their crazy antics. Dexter's parents are, I guess you could say...the 'lawful' ones since they are lawyers. But that doesn't mean he is required to follow their footsteps because they know how tough it is to become a lawyer so they let him enjoy his youth like any other kid.
