The new hope. Part one.

It was already night. A dark and damp night. It was quiet and cold. With a noise in his ears, Adelard felt a severe headache. The kind of pain that made him unable to think and to notice the fact that Armand was crying and slowly choking on his vomit. Breathing in the icy air from the open window, he recovered a little and only now hearing the call for help, he turned back and saw before him what had finally destroyed his heart. Armand was lying quite small, quite frail, on a hard bed. Around him was a brown puddle that had managed to cover almost half the room.
