"So, what are we going to talk about?"

I said to Dave Arkiel when we sat inside De Lara's cafè.

"Let's order first. What do you want?"

He asked me.

"I'm fine with Cafe Latte."

"Okay. Just wait for 5 minutes."

Then he stood up and went to the café counter.

I remained seated while browsing my friends' i* stories.

After a while, Dave Arkiel arrived carrying two cups. He sat down then handed me a cup of Cafe Latte.

"Thanks."

I smiled at him.

"I heard that our engagement party will be held this coming summer. Any plans on how we can stop it?"

He started.

I was surprised when he said that.

"What? This coming summer? How did you know? I mean my parents haven't told me this yet. So what are we going to do?"

I was confused.

"Relax, relax okay. We still have three months to make a plan."

"Three months? Do you think we can do that? It's a pest life oh. Why do I need to marry you? I know it will happen but I never expected this to be early."
