"Come on lily. Pick up your phone." Anika said as she call her phone. "Sorry, but the user of this line didn't answer the call." A lady voices came out of Anika's phone. "I know that." She provoked, and then cut the call before the lady could say her remaining automated words. "Why ain't you picking up my calls Lily?" Anika said, and then dial her friend number again and it began to ring.

"Come one Lily, pick up your phone." Anika said to herself as she call Lily again. "...Hello." Lily voice suddenly came out of the phone. "Oh my gosh, yes!" Anika shouted after Lily picked up her call. "Girl! Why are you screaming?" Lily ask her. "You are the reason why i am screaming. You didn't pick my call when i first called you, and you haven't called me since the last time we talked to each other. Wait! Isn't that a week ago?" Anika hurrly said to Lily.

"Will you stop being melodramatic, it haven't been a week. So chill." Lily said to her. "Woah! Your voice really sound serious, watsup?" Anika ask her. "It's just some work problems i have been trying to fix over here." Lily said. "Well...from your voice, i guess the problem must be a huge one. I hope you MAN is assisting you too.... what he's name again?" Anika ask. ".... it's Andrew his name is Andrew." Lily said with a tired voice. "Okay! I hope Andrew isn't giving you an hard time tho?" Anika ask Lily, feeling really worried for her friend.

"Jezz... He is not." Lily replied her. "Okay! I hope you handle your work problems then.....no scratch that. I know you can handle the problems." Anika motivated her friend. "Oh! Thank you. I really wanted to hear that from somebody." Anika said. ".... well, now you just heard it from me. Your one and only bestfriend." Anika said to Lily. "Nice one! You think I don't have other bestfriends huh?" Lily ask Anika. "I know you don't have." Anika replied her and they both laughed.

"So why did you sound so anxious when i answered the call?" Lily ask her. "Oh! Guess." Anika replied her. "If you start your guessing games with me, i am so going to hang-up." Lily playfully threatened Anika. "...fine! But don't hang-up." Anika begged her. "...so do still remembered that job interview i went for in that company?" Anika ask Lily. "Yes! That one you wanted to wear that ugly dress to?" Lily ask her and laughed. "Hahaha! Real funny." Anika who was slightly offender by what she just, answered.

"Okay! Am sorry about that." Lily responded and apologize, but still continued laughing. "....well i got a position in the company as secretary to the CEO." Anika break the news to Lily and she eventually stopped laughing. "Wow! OMG! That's amazing!" Lily excitedly screamed. "Cool huh?" Anika who was proud of herself said. "What? That is super cool!" Lily shouted. "Do you know what it means to be the secretary to a CEO?" Lily added. "....You will get so many privileges that no other employee in the company will have." Lily continue talking.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! I think i will have to stop you there." Anika said and Lily kept quiet. "I don't think that this CEO i work for will give me any special things or privileges as you like you just said." Anika boldly said to Lily. "What makes you say that?" Lily quietly ask her. "Well for starters, the guy...." Anika wanted to explain to Lily but she Interrupted her. "...What! he is a guy?!" Lily loudly ask.

"...You know for someone who have work problems you are quiet loud." Anika said to Lily. "Forget about that, tell me about your boss." Lily excitedly ask Anika. "Wait! Haven't i....." Anika wanted to say something again, but Lily Interrupted her again. "..so is he handsome?" Lily ask Anika. "Will you let me speak?....jezz." Anika complained. "Sure! Sure! Sure! Go on." Lily said. "....first off, he is handsome. Second off, he is just a cold guy who don't show emotions." Anika said. "I knew it, i knew he will be handsome. The books i read don't lie. All CEOs are handsome." Lily excitedly said.

"...but what do you mean that he is cold?" Lily ask her. "...i mean that he is cold like literally cold. He's whole body is cold, and also he's personality too." Anika said, but lied a little about the personality. "Oh! He is cold huh?" Lily ask her. "Yeah!" Anika replied immediately. "That's just another trait all handsome CEO have." Lily said to Anika. "Will you stop fooling around? I just told you the guy is literally cold." Anika shouted at her friend!. "Oh! He is cold huh?... Like a vampire?" Lily with a serious tone ask her. "Yes! Exactly like a vampire." Anika agreed, and Lily kept quiet for a while. "... HELLO! Lily are you still there?" Anika ask, and she immediately hear a loud laughter from lily. ".....Have America air made you crazy?" Lily ask Anika as she continue laughing.

"Are you done laughing now?" Anika with a serious voice. "Yeah! I am done." Lily said but still quietly laugh even more. "....well i have read countless fantasy books about vampire and werewolf, and i pretty sure you have read some too, but I don't think Vampires or werewolf are real. They are just made up thing use to scare children." Lily jokily said. "....okay! But what if i tell you that he also has red eyes?" Anika said.

"Sigh....i have seen people who were born into the world with strange eye colours, and some even surgically implant them." Lily convinced her friend with her words. "Fine! If you say so?" Anika said. "Okay! I am so happy for you my friend. Your dreams are now coming true in America." Lily said.

"Yea! They are." Anika with joy in heart said. "...So, am guessing you gonna go now?" Anika ask Lily. "Yea! But before i go, tell me, are you close to the CEO?" Lily ask Anika. "... Absolutely not." Anika replied immediately. "Why?" Lily ask. ".... I don't know, maybe because i didn't came to America to make friends with anybody especially any CEOs who has Prev... I mean cold personality." Anika explained.

"...so you don't go to his office and all that?" Lily ask. "Lily! Your questions are now starting to sound weird." Anika said. "I just want to know...." Lily who sound really desperate ask. "....like, how do he's office look like, and is he those alpha CEOs with six packs and cool hair, i normally read about?" Lily ask her.

"Well... I have only entered his office once and that was today. I seriously don't know what he is doing as we speak....."

MEANWHILE IN CARLO'S OFFICE.

"Rin! Rin! Rin!" A secret phone rings inside Carlos desk as he sign some documents. "DAMN! do they want to set up a meeting now?" Carlos angrily said and then open the drawer with a passcode. "...This werewolves are really crossing the line." Carlos angrily said and then pick up an old Nokia phone after opening the drawer. "Carlos here! What do you want." Carlos answered the phone with a cold voice. "Don what's a meeting with you in an hour. Don't be late." A female voice speaks out of the phone and hang up. "Those damn werewolves. They must have found out about what i did to one of his kind." Carlos said and then he throw the phone back in the his desk drawer.

"Fine! If it's a meeting he wants. I will give him a meeting.. but?" Carlos said and stand up from his chair. "...if Don already knows about how i kick out one of his kind to employ a mortal. He will surely come after Anika. No! I will not let that happen, i will have to take her with me. She is the only person that have made my....." Carlos thought as he stare through the glass view in his office.

"...NO! I have to at least protect her." Carlos came to a conclusion and then walk to his office phone, and called Anika.
