Miriam P.O.V. My teleport takes me back to my rooms in court where I know I can’t stay. I scribble a quick note for Henri, let the ink dry and sit magically as my father taught me. He has been groveling and apologizing, and I’ve been enjoying the attention, but I also need to tell him I’m not mad.
