Christopher's POV

Today was the day we'd scheduled to meet with Tate and the girls. Dante had offered to host them for a game night.

I mean, Tate suggested we do one at a karaoke bar, but Dante had then offered that they come here.

I was stressing about hosting, and I wasn't even the one planning anything. The living room had been set up to accommodate everyone, and the movie room and Jacuzzi were set to be powered for the event.

Everything was supposedly going as planned, but I was still nervous.

I cared about their opinion a lot, and I wanted them to have a good opinion about Dante, so I kept spacing out.

I was supposed to work a few hours today and be done early to get ready for the night, but I couldn't seem to focus.

I was stressed, and even more importantly, I kept replaying everything that was needed.

Dante had set up a special room for the game show. We had a karaoke bar set up and some random games.

It was small, cozy, and perfect.

I didn't like leaving Christopher alone in the alleyway, but I also knew he wouldn't leave those two women there on their own. He could take care of himself against most humans now.
