Dante's POV It's been a few days since night in the cabin and he's been a little distant. It wasn't something very noticeable, but sometimes I could just see on his face that he was worrying. I know it was probably because of his human girlfriend. He was going to break up with her soon. I could tell. He had the look. I'd be a liar if I said it didn't make me very happy. She thought she had him all to herself. Pathetic. I had a meeting later in the day with Lucien so I'd drive to the office so we could have the meeting there. Something was wrong and I couldn't help but be worried. The Ace Coven should have retaliated. They were the sort to act brash and stupidly after being insulted the way I insulted. The fact they hadn't had the reaction that was expected of them meant that they had something up their sleeve. I know I'm powerful and can protect Christopher from any harm but I knew that there were ways to harm him that would be right out of my reach.
Christopher's POV The preparation for the party was going fine and we were having it later in the evening. I've been in charge of making sure that Alvin doesn't get here till he is needed. That meant me texting him telling him to take his time at home and that there was no need for him to come help me for these past few days. Now it was the day of the party. Theo and Manson were supposed to figure out a way to bring him and his wife in without letting them know exactly what was being planned. Everything was put in place now. The guests were set to arrive any minute and I was getting ready. A knock on my door startled me and I turned to see Dante in an unbuttoned dress shirt and a loose tie around his neck leaning against my door frame holding a box. “What's up” I asked him as I buttoned up my shirt. I have something for you. He moved away from the door frame and walked towards me shaking the box to bring my attention to it. “What's in there?” I asked staring at the bo
Dante's POV I let go of him so he could say his congratulations to Alvin while holding his hand. We walked to Alvin together and he hugged him. “Congratulations on your retirement” he smiled at Alvin pulling away to hug his wife too. “Now you have to put up with him being at home all the time” he joked and we all laughed. Alvin looked down and noticed that I'd been holding Christopher's hand this whole time. He raised a brow. “Dante can I talk to you for a minute” he smiled acting indifferent. “Sure. I'll be back soon sunshine” I leaned down and kissed Christopher on the lips. I walked away to the sides with him. “I was wondering why everyone was tense and looking your way. Now I know why. What were you thinking” he asked in a whisper. “Nothing that is your business. I just wanted you to spend the day showing off my lover.” I answered amused. “Does he know who you are?” He gestured to the whole room. “Now this a private conversation for my office but because I
Christopher's POV Who is hitting a drum right in my Fucking ear? Jesus Christ, can't a man sleep in peace? God my head was pounding. I started to open my eyes but found it difficult. It was as if my eyelids were too heavy for me. I tried again and failed. What the hell was going on? Was I blind? I wanted to get up but my body felt like it was being weighed down by pure steel. My throat felt like sandpaper. I needed water so I tried to open my eyes and this time I succeeded. I opened my eyes and was met by a blinding light. My eyes adjusted and I found myself laying on a bed in a room. I tried to move but my whole body hurt. I looked to my left to see my mom. Where was I and what was she doing here? I opened my mouth but couldn't say a word. I opened it again and managed to call out to her. "Mum" she jolted her head up and looked at me. "Omg honey you're awake" she cried rushing to hug me the moment she touched me my whole arm and rib shot in pain. "O
Dante's POV (At the party) I was out of my house at lightning speed. All the vampires noticed me leave and were confused about what happened. Athena came outside to meet me as I was getting ready to fly. "What's wrong Dante?" she asked. "The party's over," I said before taking up to the sky leaving her on the ground shocked. I flew almost immediately to the site of the crash where the ambulance services were already trying to get Christopher out of the car. I landed in an alley and smoothened myself. Willing myself to to act crazy. I walked out of the alley and towards them. "Hey sir you cannot be here," a police officer said trying to stop me "you will do well not to try to hinder me from seeing Christopher" I hypnotized him and he let me through. I walked to the car where they were still trying to cut the door open to pull him out. I listened. His heart was still beating but it was getting fainter by the moment. I didn't have time for this. I walk
Christopher's POV I was sitting up now and could move around. I hadn't seen Dante since the accident and I missed him. My mom was already on a rant about how she'd stay with me until I recovered. I didn't say a word because I didn't want to decide until I saw Dante. My dad hadn't come with my mom because he was still angry with me and stood by the opinion that if I'd come home I wouldn't be in the accident. He was hoping my mom would convince me to come back with her. I knew my father. I had bruised his ego and he'd never talk to me until I found a way to fix it and from what it looked like, he was offering an olive branch by giving me a chance to move back. It still hurts though. Yes, I knew my father was not one for large emotions but I'd hoped he'd at least come visit me. I was in a comma and he never came. Ashley wasn't here either. I wanted to ask my mom about her but decided against it as it looked very hypocritical of me to do that. I was on my way to br
Dante's povHe'd agreed to come home with me. That just made everything easier for me. I never planned on letting him go whether or not he agreed to leave with me. This just made it so that I didn't have to force him and do something that would make him hate me. I wasn't beyond doing anything if it meant I could keep him safe. I haunted down every single member of the Ace clan that I could find and killed them. It wasn't difficult to find them. Once you found one the rest were very easy to spot because they had a similar smell that came with them being from the same sire. It was like having a family DNA. I was a blood bath. One I hadn't done in years and one I didn't know I missed. I'd killed them all. Draining them completely and then leaving them out in the sun to disappear. When vampires are drained completely and decapitated, they lose their immunity against the sun and then they are burnt to ashes by the sun. I wasn't able to find them all. Some had vanished into thin air
Christopher's POV They were coming in soon. I was getting discharged soon because Dante had provided information that I'd be taken care of properly. My mum insisted on coming with us to see Dante's house. She wanted to see if it was fit for me. Ashley had offered to come but Dante refused to let her come he reasons that if she was under a contract, he'd treat her as an employee, and without a pass, they couldn't get in. Something was up with him. I couldn't tell what it was but something was up. The way he agreed to Ashley bring my nurse was unexpected. It wasn't something I thought he'd do. Then he refused her to come back to his place with us, it was all very strange. I didn't want to think too much about it though. I was just happy that he was here. He'd stayed for a while on his phone and only left after Ashley left for school. Even though he was trying to hide it, I could tell that Ashley bothered him. Why didn't I see that before? Now we were suck with he
Christopher's POV I sat silent on the car ride my thoughts running wild. My head calculating and trying to figure out how long he had known. We drove to the airport where the plane was waiting for us and I got in with Dante and Tim said something about returning the car and catching another flight. My whole life had just crumbled right before my eyes and I needed to know how long the man I loved had known about it. “Sunshine, I…” he started to speak but I raised a finger. “How long have you known?” I asked. He kept quiet but I shook my head. “Tell me. How long have you known?” I asked and sighed. “That she was cheating?” He asked and I nodded. “Since I met her, I recognized her as a regular the the club so I decided to investigate” he said and I took in a deep breath. All these while he's known. Why didn't he tell me. Why had he kept it a secret. “Why didn't you tell me?” I asked and he opened his mouth and then closed it. “I didn't want to seem like I was forcing you to b
Dante's povThey've been piling on him all this while and I didn't want to say anything. I wanted Christopher to handle everything himself so I wouldn't force decisions on him. I kept my opinion to myself and just stayed my Christopher's side as support and protection. Then his father began to speak and I could see how much it was hurt him. He was trying to stay strong but they were breaking him. “You son died because you couldn't get your affairs together. You were busy running around chasing your foolishness that you couldn't save your woman and sin when they needed you the most” his father shook his head a again with that disappointed look. “I lost my first grandson because of you. Chris I regret to say this but you're my biggest ….” I knew what he wanted to say and so did Christopher. He was already cowering on the inside. I wasn't going to let him finish the final words so I spoke up. “Shut up” Everyone stopped and looked at me. His father opened his mouth but couldn't say
Christopher's POV I hugged mum and she hugged me back. I pulled away and turned to Dante. “Mom you know Dante” I motioned to him and she looked at him with disgust. “Yes, come in honey” What was going on? When she left last time, she liked Dante. What's had changed?I wondered and I we walked into the living room I realized exactly what had changed. Dad was sitting down on his favourite recliner and Ashley was there with a few people I couldn't recognize. I recognized the weird pastor from a church but what was he doing here. We didn't go to church? Then it hit me what was going on and my heart broke. I took a step back hitting Dante's chest steadying me. He was here with me. I was going to be fine Ashley stood up after seeing me and walked to hug me but I pushed her away in disgust. I didn't like her before but I hated her now more than ever. She started to sob and my mum pulled her into a hug looking at me as if she was disappointed in me. “What is wrong with you Chris, yo
Dante's POV I would have come whether or not he has asked me to come but him asking made it easier for me. I didn't have to go secretly. I'd go with him and see what was happening. I had a feeling that his mom was lying to him. I heard the lie but I hoped for his sake. I begged for his sake that for once I would be wrong. He loved them. He loved them so much with all his heart that it would break him if this turned out to be a lie and for his sake I hoped his father was really in critical conditions. I finished packing up his bag and he had barely finished his cake. I was going order some food for him on our way to the airport. I picked up my phone and placed an order. So we could pick it up on our way. I texted Oliver asking him to send some people to come load the car with our stuff. I asked him to be fast. He was there in a less than minute. He must have sensed the urgency in my text. “Lets pack this up” I said carrying as much bags as I could stack with out it toppling ove
Christopher's POV We had barely stumbled out of bed, showered and changed the sheets. Now we were curled up in bed watching a movie and I was enjoying my ice cream and cake from last night as late breakfast. “Wanna taste” I asked him as I opened my eyes to catch him staring at me. “You eat sweets like it's sex” he said and I chuckled.“It tastes so good you can't blame me” I grinned and put another forkful of the chocolate cake in my mouth. I let out an exaggerated sexual moan rolling my eyes. “So good,” I said, biting my lips. I opened my eyes to see him staring at me like I was the cake. “You're pushing it sunshine” he growled and I shrugged taking another forkful and a little bit of ice cream and ate it. “Fuckkk” I moaned again, exaggerating the goodness. Throwing my head back and moaning. “So so good” I moaned and then opened my eyes, licking my lips. “What's wrong? Want a bit? You can have one” I said, taking another forkful. “Don't mind if I do” he said, taking the tr
Dante's POV I stirred and saw Christopher laying beside me. I saw stars last night. The was the first time I was physically exhausted from sex. He woke up three more times in the night to ride me. He was probably more exhausted than me seeing that he was the one who did all the work but I found him adorable. He had been so imsistent on making me feel good and I had been so focused on his fragility as a human I forgot that he actually knew how to fuck. I was blissed out and from the look on his face and the smile on his face, so was he. It was already mid morning and he wasn't awake yet. His hole must be bruised from all the pounding it did and took. I flexed my hand against the restraints and broke them. “Sorry sunshine, I'll buy new ones” I whispered to him and then got between his legs. He was stuffed with my cum and the sight of it made me smile. I spread his ass and began to lick. Slowly making sure to spread my saliva all over to help relieve the pain. I felt tears an
Christopher's POVI pushed him against the wall and kissed him and he let me take the lead. I pulled him the collar to the bed and pushed him down. I pulled off his shirt and he raised his hands for me to pull them off. I threw the shirt to the side and then pushed him down on the bed. “Give me your hands” I asked him and he stretched out both hands to me. “I'm going to cuff your hands so you stay in place” I picked up the cuffs I had gotten with the lingerie and cuffed his hands the the bed frame. “You're not allowed to touch me” I kissed him and then smiled at my work. I straddled him and bent to kiss him. And he immediately tugged at the restraints. “What are you doing?” I asked and he stopped looking guilty. “I wanted to touch you” he said embarrassed. “Tsk tsk tsk. You really need to be tamed” I bent down again to kiss him and this time he didn't move his hands. “Good boy” I think kissed my way down his body to his neck. “Do you know that I don't know all the places in
Dante's POV After Dante left the houseI knew Christopher was sending me out so he could get whatever the surprise was ready. He was so obvious I had to help him hide his glee. It was adorable to watch. He asked for cake and ice cream from two very far stores to keep me out of the house for as long as possible so they could set up where they were planning. I went along with everything. I for one had already prevented myself from knowing what the surprise was and was looking forward to whatever it was regardless of anything else. So going along with the plan only made things extra exciting for me. I took Morah that had been assigned to go with me. He wasn't a staff hired by me but if he was hired by Oliver he probably was good and trustworthy. If there was one thing I could trust it was Oliver's Judgement. He knew exactly how good he was at judging people's character. Human and vampire alike and his sense of judgement was really good to an extent. It was a gift that I knew if
Christopher's POV All my plans were in place without Dante finding out. It took me so much to plan this out in a way he didn't find out. I had to make sure that everything was put in place properly with the staff of the Manor. They were all more than willing to do anything to help including Olly the vampire who looked like he was eighteen. His name was Oliver and he was turned by someone else and then abandoned because he was flawed. He was meant to be killed, put down when Dante had found him and adopted him as his own. He had stayed with Dante under his wings as his son for that period of time and when Dante had left Monte Carlo, he'd put him in charge of the whole estate and maintaining it. He did a great job and prided himself in it. He was also a pretty decent guy. He was close with all the vampire staff and they all lived together in his quarters. He was too young to be master of the region but Dante had put him in charge of his territory under his name. He still had
