I feel like I haven’t slept in days. This last week has been hell. I haven’t seen much of my little sunrise and am unhappy. Thankfully it is Friday, and she will be here after her last class. I was just as surprised as Sienna when I learned that Kraven was Quinton’s stepbrother. I had no idea that Quinton’s father, Darrus, had found his mate. The fact that she was human is very shocking. Demons are rarely mated to humans. I have to commend Darrus; he stepped in and accepted his mate when he found she was pregnant and carrying another man's child and took over to help raise the boy. Few human men would do this, and very few to no supernaturals would do this. Most would have rejected her and walked away. I know that Quinton lost his father five years ago, and I knew his mother didn’t last long after his father was killed. Fucking hunters, I wish there was a way to rid them, but unfortunately, that is impossible. I let out a grunt when something plops down into my lap.
