I am not sure how much more shit my little sunrise can take. Since we saw each other that day in the cafe, some deep dark secret has come to the surface. I knew she was special when I saw her, but I had no idea she was this special. I was not surprised about her strength. Finding out how sensitive her hearing was, was a tad surprising. Vampires and the fae both have extremely sensitive hearing, so again not a huge surprise. The shocking part was finding out that my little sunrise could talk to and control the shadows, not to mention she could teleport. Other creatures can teleport but must see where they want to go visually. Sienna can think of a place and teleport herself there. “Could she have magic capabilities like the fae?” Viktor asks. “It's possible. I did ask her that, but she told me no. However, I have noticed that she can make things appear out of nowhere. I don’t think she realises she is even doing it. I also will hear her mumble in some weird language, and
I am unsure if I am more pissed off or surprised at everyone in the room. After our meeting three days ago, I called the others on my council for a meeting. When I explained why this meeting was taking place, everyone was shocked. I didn’t tell them why I met with a dark fae. They don’t need to know about Sienna’s powers and heritage. I am more than comfortable with them believing that she is human now. I spoke with Dad about it, and he agreed that, for now, they don’t need to know. I trust most of them, but as I figured, Zeke is having a temper tantrum. He was against us forging alliances with both packs, the witch coven, and the fae. When I told them about meeting with Jakari, he lost his mind. He has been on his rant for about ten minutes, and it is on my last nerve. Zeke is being overly argumentative and combative today. I mean, the guy is always an asshole, but today is being an even bigger ass than normal. I might need this opportunity to kick his ass off the council
I don’t care that I am going to be queen. I am still going to live how I want. Luca has been occupied in a meeting with Jackson and the others all day, trying to finalize this alliance with Jakari. He wanted me there, but I told him no. I have classes all day, and just because I will be his queen doesn’t mean I will not finish my second degree. I haven’t told them that I already have a master's degree in IT. The plus side of being able to talk with and travel using the shadows. No one can trace where my location. If only they knew everything I have hacked into, they would probably shit themselves. I love computers, but art and painting are my life, so I am back here getting another master's degree in art and art history. I still need to reschedule my exhibit at some point. I had to recently fire my manager since the bitch was bad-mouthing me and stealing for me. Luckily Kirk, of all people, knew someone, and he helped me get everything she stole back and made it seem like s
I open my eyes but then close them. Why is the fucking light in here so bright? I slowly open them again and notice that the light has been dimmed. I open them all the way and look around. I have no idea where I am. I last remember being at the table with Luca and his family having dinner when an intense pain ripped through my body. I try to sit up, but it hurts too damn much. I push myself back against the wall the bed is pushed up against. I look around the room but still don’t recognize anything here. It is not the hospital that I was in when Luca was attacked. “Where am I?” I whisper. “You are in the fae realm. We had to bring you here when you passed out at dinner.” A female voice says. “Esmerelda?” I ask. “Yes, don’t move too much, Sienna.” She tells me. “What happened?” I ask. She starts to tell me something when I hear a loud growl as the door to my room slams against the wall. There stands Luca. The look on his face is between anger and worry, but a smi
My little sunrise is up to something. She has been here for a week, and things have been good, but she is constantly digging through those boxes containing her mother’s belongings. She has also been on her computer a lot. I have left her alone for the most part, but I know she is up to something. Bernard and Bianca had to return home but promised they would return soon. I asked if Rico, Viktor, or myself could help her, but she told us she knew what she was looking for. I did ask Jakari to come. She did show me the book that she found amongst her mothers belonging. I asked her what else she had found, and she said she didn’t want to say until she had more information. I guess that is fair enough. Dallas still hasn’t found any new leads on Cavallo’s location. It is like he dropped off the face of the planet. Not sure where the asshole is hiding, but we will find him. I am looking for my little sunrise, but she doesn’t appear anywhere in this castle. “Let me guess she was
I can’t help but laugh as I watch Paul and Viktor run around looking for me. Paul and his family officially joined Luca’s coven. I can tell they like being in a cove and are glad Luca offered them to join his coven. I thought I would be bored this winter break, but it has been anything but boring. I don’t mind that Luca assigned a few guys to be my guards, even if I think it is a waste of time, and those guards could be used elsewhere where needed more. Luca and the guys did help me move all of the boxes containing Mom’s stuff to a larger room where I have more space to work. Evan is here helping me at the moment. The others offered to help, but most of the research I am currently doing is online, and unlike Evan and myself, they are not computer geniuses. I know that Jackson, Whitney, and Lainey will be coming today. I think Uncle Jakari is coming as well. I started calling him that as a joke, but I guess, in some ways, it is true. That is another thing that I did. I starte
I sit down in my chair and rub my face with my hands. Today was supposed to be friendly and calm, with Jackson and Whitney coming to chat. I was expecting Lainey to be with them, but she is visiting her mother's birth pack with her family, which is understandable. Bernard and Bianca want Sienna and her father to come and visit them. I think they want to introduce them to Liam as well. Sienna has talked with Liam, and I know he holds no ill will toward William. Mom’s friend has the power to read minds, and he said that William was telling the truth that Ennyia hid him and Sienna from everyone. We all understand why she did it, but that doesn’t mean that we aren’t mad, and the fact that it hurt Bernard and Bianca, not knowing they even had a grandchild, makes it even worse. I know that Sienna feels terrible about it, but they have reinforced that none of this is her fault. “Ok, Derick please explain why you think Whitney is also your beloved.” I say. “The four of us were walki
These last two weeks have been shitty. While I am thankful that Felipe has let us stay within his coven, I am sick of Alaska. While vampires aren’t affected by the cold, I would still prefer to be someplace warmer, besides the fact that it is always dark here. Unfortunately, Europe is still out of the question. Since my father informed the council about me, I have had to keep a low profile. I have had Gerald and Donatello looking at places we could go. Zeke and Paulina should be here any time now. I wasn’t surprised to hear that Luca removed him from the council. It makes it harder to know what is happening within the council. Zeke was my spy, and while he is a whiny little shit, he was helpful. He has always thought he deserved more than he does. His family wasn’t one of the more prestigious families. He was even on the council because of his beloved, who was killed when Paulina was little, and because of his father. Although the man he knew as his father was not his biol
