LOGINThe two men stared at me and I stared right back at them with a blank expression. How were they expecting me to react after all the bullshit they just spurted out of their mouths?
Vampire Kingdom?! Supernatural world?! Human slave?!
Ha! Is this a fucking prank or what?
I forced out a laugh trying to make them think that what they said was funny. At this point I would do anything to get away from these lunatic creeps.
"That was very funny guys. Thanks again for saving my life. I really need to go home, bye!"
"You can't leave!" Nice guy spoke quickly before I could make a run for it. "First of all you're a human. Its dangerous for you to walk around without a master. Secondly, the shadow monsters are still lurking around. The safest option is to come with us."
"Should you be telling her that in such sweet tone Lysander? A human should be treated as a slave. If we cannot harm her and drain her ourselves, then we should be dragging her to the palace before the prince, not negotiating with her." You could tell who said that. It's Linus the dick!
Lysander ignored him and continue to speak to me. "Come with us Kate. I assure you, you will be safer under our care than alone. If the shadow monsters doesn't kill you, then another vampire will for sure."
He sounded so convincing that I almost wanted to believe the nonsense he was saying. But he is right. The woods is dangerous and they just saved me from that strange animal. It's only right that I go with them.
"Okay," I agreed. "But you must help me find my way home after this."
Linus scoffed, but Lysander replied kindly. "Of course Kate. Now, come with us."
They walked ahead of me and I followed slowly behind them. If they make any move to harm me, I will blot away before they even realize it.
I just hope I'm making the right decision.

The men had their car parked in the middle of the road. It was an old black Benz that was common in the 19th century. Once we were out of the woods, the moon glowed brighter and I was finally able to see the two men properly.
They were both tall, I would say exactly six foot tall. I was staring up at them and I had to strain my neck a little too much.
Also, they were both extraordinarily handsome. The one who I assumed was Linus had his charcoal black hair jelled back in a smooth style. His face was a scowl like he was displeased at the world, and his skin was just like the color of the moon. Too pale to be normal.
Lysander was also very handsome. Even more handsome than Linus. His black hair was long and fell a little past his shoulder. His face was warm and kind and his skin was also very pale.
They both wore matching black suits and silk expensive looking shoes. I was starting to doubt about these two men identities. They look too proper to be lunatics.
Lysander opened the back door of the car for me. "Get in Kate."
I gave them both wary looks. I was starting to find this very creepy. Who are these men? Were they kidnappers? Am I making the right decision in choosing to go with them?
I looked around me. The streets were completely empty. Not a single vehicle or person in sight. Even though I scream for help, no one is going to hear me or come help me.
If I run would they be able to catch me?
I decided not to over think this. I should just go with them and hope that they are not bad people. I really don't want to go through the hassle of being chased again.
Gulping down my nerves, I got into the back seat of the car. Linus has already settled in the driver seat, and Lysander took the passenger seat, so we were off to the world unknown.
We drove through dark streets, not even a single street light was in sight. The only source of light was from the glow of the moon.
This is strange. There are street lights on the streets of Los Angeles? Could this be a different city? Did I somehow get lost in another town, or maybe that old woman took me to a different town!
Shit! What the hell is really going on?
An hour later, we arrived at an old mansion hidden behind a huge black barred gate. The gates slide open when the car drove closer, and we drove into the compound.
The mansion was huge and the windows were lit up giving the place an enchanting glow. There was a strange sculpture of an old man wearing a cape in the middle of the compound. It was the first thing my eyes noticed when I stepped out of the car.
"Come with us," Lysander said to me. They walked ahead of me and I followed once again. My heart beating with every step I took towards the front door.
The big oak doors opened for us and we walked into a big wide living room. Different people swam around the places in black clothes. Some were seated conversing and sipping on red wine, while others stood in groups talking.
I frowned when I saw a particular group seated on armchairs and a woman and a man were on their knees beside them wearing collar chains on their neck like dogs, and some others were serving red wines with the same collar chains on their neck.
Um, what the hell!
The minute we stepped in however, all eyes fell on me like they all immediately sensed my presence.
They all had something in common. Their eyes were glowing red and their skin was as white as snow like that of a vampire; the ones I see in movies.
What the hell is going on?!
Were Linus and Lysander telling the truth?
"Come!" Lysander spoke again when he noticed that I had stopped walking and was looking around me in astonishment.
I followed them up the wide stairs making sure to stick close to Lysander. I could feel the eyes of the people on me. It was like they were predators studying a new prey, admiring a new toy, like they were about to pounce any seconds.
Wait, are they actually vampires or is this some kind of cult to worship vampires or something? What's with the collar chains anyway?
We walked down a few corridors until we stopped at a big door. The door opened on its own--doors do that a lot around here--and we walked into the big hall.
My breath hitched when I saw how beautiful this room is. The floors were marble and sparking and there were pillars scattered all over the place. There was an aisle that lead us towards an alter or more like a throne.
Seated on the said throne was...
My eyes widened in shock. What the hell is Domenic Darkshadow doing there on a fucking throne?!
Wait! Have I being captured and brought to the Mafia organization? Is this the Russian Mafia Domenic Darkshadow rules? That makes a lot more sense.
Domenic's green eyes fell on me and I felt my breath hitched. His expression was a scowl and he sat on his throne wearing the aura of a king who knows his worth. He was wearing a white button up and loose pants and his dark eyes were on me.
Does he recognize me?
"Your Majesty!" Linus and Lysander bowed their heads to him.
I gulped in discomfort. Am I really in the Russian Mafia territory? But what's with the royal endearment towards Domenic?
"You're back earlier than expected Lysander." His voice like a command broke through the room sending shivers down my spine. It was just like I remembered. Sexy, deep and fucking hot!
"We encountered a bit of a situation in the woods your Majesty." Lysander held my arm and pulled me forward for all eyes to see. I noticed two men and a woman seated on smaller seats around Domenic's throne all dressed in black. "We found this human girl alone in the woods without a master and decided to bring her to you."
Silence filled the hall and all that was heard was the sound of my heart thudding against my rib cage. I hope this prick remembers that I saved him.
"Interesting. She smells different." Domenic pointed out as his green eyes glowed in hunger.
"True," one of the men around him agreed licking his lips in delight. "I can barely sit still."
"It's hard to control myself right now!" Said the other. His red eyes glowed and I caught a glimpse of fangs when he also licked his lips.
I gasped in shock and fear stumbling back. Linus harshly pushed me forward.
My eyes were wide and terrified. I couldn't stop looking at the man with the fangs.
Are they real?!
"I want her!" He growled.
No thank you sir! Not with those scary fangs!
"You must calm down Orion. We do not know who she is yet and why she smells so amazing." Domenic said, his eyes still on me.
I glared at the fucker. They might not know who I am but he does!
"But your highness, she is nothing but a mere human. A slave!" The other guy added. "I will pay a fortune for her! Her blood is probably the sweetest thing ever."
"I will pay much more than a fortune your highness! Give her to me!" Orion argued desperately.
"I am in no position to give her to you." Domenic told them firmly, "my father alone has the right to decide what happens to this strange human who has appeared out of nowhere, and you all know he is sick. Until he recovers from his illness, this human girl will be under my care and no one is to lay a finger on her without my consent. Is that understood?!"
They groaned underneath their breaths in displeasure, but no one dared to openly disagree.
Seeing no argument, Domenic ordered. "Take her to her room Lysander, and let her await her fate."
The scent of freshly brewed coffee and breakfast filled the breakfast table. It was made precisely for Camille's little human toy, as the rest of us in here are vampires. I can eat human food, but I wasn't feeling the need right now, but Camille and Lysander hated it.Right now, I just really miss Kate. She left last night because her mom was expecting her back home early, but I was honestly looking forward to seeing her at school. Although I had no idea what to do about my sister and her little human.I heard them last night in his room, and the scent of pleasure drove me insane. There was obviously something going on between them. I could see it in their eyes, but i didn't want to ask yet in order not to sound like Im intruding. Camille and I haven't acted like actual brother and sister for a while now. At some point, I hated her for stealing father's love, but now I've realized that's just stupid of me.Nevertheless, I decided to tease them a bit. I leaned against my chair while I
The lingering heat of Camille’s lips on mine still burned on my lips as we broke apart, our breathing ragged in the cool, magnolia-scented night air. Moonlight spilled across the opulent balcony, gilding the marble railing and the lush gardens below. My heart hammered against my ribs, a frantic counterpoint to the sudden, profound silence that had fallen between us. I saw my own stunned desire reflected in her eye. Those beautiful eyes that drew me to her like moth to flame."You… you really feel that way about me?" I whispered, the words catching in my throat. I was unable to believe someone like her would love me.Camille didn’t answer with words at first. Instead, a shy, tender smile curved her lips, one that reminded me of the clumsy housemaid who knew nothing about house chores."I have felt this way for so long, Josh," she murmured, her voice a velvet caress. "From the very moment you pulled your doors open to welcome me, my heart already wanted you."She stepped closer, the thi
The guest suite Domenic had assigned me was a masterpiece of sophistication. High, vaulted ceilings were braced by dark mahogany beams, and the walls were draped in heavy, midnight-blue velvet that swallowed the light.I was raised in luxury. I knew the difference between expensive and priceless, and this place was definitely the latter.I stood in the center of the room, thinking about all that lead to this moment in my life. I realized with a start that I didn't care about my company. I didn't care about the wealth I’d spent my entire life accumulating. All I cared about was Camille. It was an irrational, terrifying realization. I had known this woman for almost a month as my housemaid—someone I saw every day who appeared very strange into my life. Now, knowing she was a princess of a race I didn't even believe in some days ago, my only instinct was to ensure she was safe. I didn't know if it was love, or madness, or the adrenaline of the hunt, but she had become the only thing on m
The morning light filtered through the grime of our hotel room window. We had woken up early just to make our escape before the vampires found us. I watched Camille as she moved about the room with a determined look wiping every supposed smell of us. That, too, is strange, but i didn't point it out. I just kept watching. It was still a shock to me. For almost a month now, she had been my housemaid. A disaster for a housemaid, but she was my housemaid all the same. But now, she is the princess of the vampires whos being chased by her own people for refusing a union her father wants to force her into."Josh, are you ready? We need to move now," Camille whispered, drawing me out of my thoughts.I checked the weight of the silver-tipped dagger I’d tucked into my waistband. Camille had handed it to me earlier to protect myself. I've never used a knife before or any other weapon, but I gripped it anyway. Unlike Camille, I was human, but as I watched her, a strange, possessive ache thrummed
"What is going on, Camille?! How did they find you?!" I asked in shock as we drove through the city. Thankfully, the creepy vampire guy didn't come after us. God knows that if he does, there's gonna be disaster. He'll definitely be faster than my stupid car.Camille sighed and ran a hand through her hair, looking frustrated. "I seriously have no idea how they found me. But I sensed their presence and decided to go come look for you. My scent is all over you, and no doubt they would find you eventually.""Your scent?" I couldn't help asking. That's so weird."Yeah. Since we've been living together, my scent kind of rubs off on you. Wherever you go, any vampire can tell that I have been around you because you'll smell like me."I frowned a little disturbed by the concept. It's a little weird that I won't lie."So what now? Are we going back to the house?" I asked in worry. If they found her, that means they found my house, and therefore, we can't go back there. "No, we can't." And I wa
Josh’s POVWeeks passed in a blur, and to my surprise, Camille and I were living a peaceful life together. It doesn't even seem like she was a vampire anymore, safe for the extraordinary powers she displays every now and then, but besides that, Camille was completely normal.I couldn't help but find the vampire princess cute. She's like a little kitten, always eager to do something and learn something. I have been the one discouraging her for a while now. If not, Camille would have tried to make me breakfast.I barely make breakfast now because Camille doesn't even eat, and I don't want to be late for work, but it seems like she isn't satisfied with the possibility that I was trying to starve myself. See? She's that cute.As I knotted my tie, my nose quickly picked up the unpleasant smell of something burning. I frowned slightly, but when I remembered the last time Camille tried to cook, I raced out of my room to go check on her.In a flash, I was already in the kitchen. "Camille?” I
Days passed, but instead of things settling into a routine, Ashley only grew stranger. At first, it was small things. Things I told myself didn’t matter. Things I tried to ignore but couldn't.It started with food.Since she doesn't know how to cook, cooking became my responsibility. After my famil
