Kal too couldn’t resist the force that assaulted his ears and body from every side as he dropped to one knee.

“Witches…” he cursed out loud with gritted teeth, doing his best to recover as quickly as he could, before he was attacked and ended up dead.

“BOOM!” a loud and piercing noise erupted again, but this time farther away from him and closer to the pavilion where all the princes and Princess’ had been.

“Shit…” Kal cursed under his breath, shifting his gaze from the smaller pavilion which he could barely see into, before moving his gaze to the bigger one, not at all surprised to discover that it was completely empty.

Looking around more, he felt a chill through his bones as he enlarged his vision through the haze of dust around him to see hundreds of people dead on both sides of the arena.

Having bled from their ears, mouths, and nose, the force of the explosion went as far as to shatter some of their bodies into smaller unrecognizable pieces.
