45: Aurora

Giving her body a final look in the mirror, she picked her back pack. There is no way she can miss school because if she does, her father will get a hang that something happened to her.

She had given Carter his breakfast so she doesn’t have anything to worry about. She walked out of the room, heading to the door and she opened it.

She was about to leave when she noticed something down on the doorstep. It was a box with a little note attached to it. She would have said it was from Noel but it was entirely black.

Her heart skipped a beat as she picked it up, going back into the house. She decided to open it before she leaves for school.

And by just removing the ribbon used to hold it in place, she could perceive the heavy smell that lingered it. She crunched her nose before she entirely removed the ribbon and opened the box.

She screamed, throwing away the box cover and the ribbon that she was holding. “What is this?” She cried out then she remembered there was a note that came with it.
