Debra's Pov
"Goodnight sweetheart." He said to her. Sweetheart, the word was so heavy for me that my heart nearly burst and I feel empty inside in my chest.
She must be his girlfriend but he never mentioned her, why would he? I just met him two days ago and I mean nothing to him... Why would he share his personal life with me?
Then my footsteps couldn't head further to the door and I raced back to my room like a girl who was dump by her boyfriend. However, that was not the truth. He was not my boyfriend neither I had any relation with him.
For me, he was my savior and I was his. We both owe something to each other and that was the only reason for us to be together.
I gripped the door handle and closed the door from inside. It was a kinda new emotion to me. I was sad when he said her sweetheart. My tears brim when I got back at the door of my room. I felt unhappy and sick inside.
