Early the next morning,Aiden awoke first.His eyes immediately caught Nina's spread legs across the pillow she'd used to divide the bed.He smiled and then got up from the bed to take a shower.

When he came back in,Nina was awake sitting on the bed and rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning,lil wolf" he said

Nina raised her head to see a bare chested Aiden standing in front of her with a towel from his waist down and another on his hand which he used to clean his wet hair.Water dropped from the tips unto his body,Nina was too shocked to reply to his greetings.

"Good morning" she immediately replied after realizing herself

His back to her,he searched for a cloth to wear. "I hope you're preparing for the invitation you accepted from the King?" he asked

Nina found herself lazily staring at his broad back,he had a tattoo there.It had some kind of writing on it that Nina could not easily fathom.Lost in his body she didn't hear what he said.

    Kiyiya gasped loudly,she glared at him."Let go off me!"He held her still against the wall."Why Kiyiya?" he groaned from within "Why did you hide it from me!" he thundered"Please, Damon.." she looked away,tears filling her eyes "I..I don't want to talk about this!""You will have to! How long will you continue to run?? How did you expect me to make amends if I do not know why you want to end things between us!""I don't want you to make amends!" Kiyiya shouted back "Don't bother! Because I am tired..I can't..I can't do this anymore!" He went quiet for a while."What more can I offer you?! All my life with you has been all lies! I was deceitful! A traitor! After all these,do you still expect me to face you,look you in the eye and pretend all is well?""No" she answered her own rhetorical question.She gazed at him."You've done more than enough for me,Damon" she began "But I never deserved a man like you and I'm not ashamed to admit it""So please.. let's end things before the new

    A week later.It was the new year.A week ago after the victory of Nicolina and the beginning of her era,everyone had great plans for the preparations of the new year.They wanted it all in one because it was indeed a new year.It signified the end of the tyrant and the commencement of new friendships.The palace was re-constructed beautifully and by Nina's will did enmity between neighbouring kingdoms, ended.In fact she had summoned for all under Kingdom Fye to attend the upcoming ceremony.Kiyiya and Raven had chosen to go over to the farther lands to inform them of the New Year Festival and to invite them to the palace.Considering how far the journey is it wasn't until a week later did they return and Kiyiya did this on purpose.She didn't want to cross path with Damon.Although she was hurting terribly for having to stay away from him but she couldn't bring herself to look at him and love him the same again.She didn't want a relationship where there'd be compromises,even though s

    He threw his arms around her without the slightest caution and pulled her into his embrace fiercely.Their skin contact created a warm spark that ushered into their hearts floods of love.It was like the eruption of a volcano.It took seconds before Nina wrapped her hands around his neck.Even though her love for him that was sleeping in the crevice of her heart had awoken by the touch of his hands,she still remained adamant about her decision.She maintained that it was because she loves him.So therefore,she was willing to let him go...to the person he truly loves.He withdrew,holding her face in his palms and rested their foreheads together"I feel so blessed to have you" he whispered."How..how did you manage to get back?" he asked with his hands all over her,gazing at her wounds that were slowly healing.Nicolina smiled."You're looking at the Keeper of the Underworld" It took few seconds for him to understand and when he did,he couldn't help but smile at the warrior she has now

    Alicia went between them and seperated them."This isn't the time to fight!" she sniffed "Raven just died,we have no idea where Mateo is and all you can do is fight??!""Fight??" Alicia shot a look at him "When did you become this way?!""Since when everything was taken away from me"Kiyiya was all quiet however the moment she saw Damon running towards them she immediately opened her mouth to speak."I think I should go to the palace and..and-" she didn't think of the lie yet when he came and interrupted."Mateo has taken the vault!" he announced."No..he mustn't release it yet!" screamed Alicia as she immediately began to run towards the palace.The rest followed after her.Mateo,on seeing them,created a force field to stop them from coming closerAlicia banged on it."Don't do it,Mateo!!     A thin line of blood crept down her lips.He withdrew the sword from her,making more blood to gush out.Raven fell on her knees,her sword dropping from her hand."Goodbye,Princess" Mateo grinned as he raised his sword to cut off her head."Noooo!" Klaus screamed as he ran towards them but it was impossible to get there on time.Just as the sword lowered,it stopped midway in the air.Klaus stopped in his tracks and so did the others.What was happening?They could all see Mateo struggling with his sword ,however it hanged there on the air.A large hand grabbed his throat from nowhere.It was more of happiness than surprise to see him again.He looked nothing like he did back at the dungeon.It was like he'd gone for a thorough transformation but this wasn't the time to ogle.Aiden narrowed his eyes."I've come to pay you a visit" he smirked as he looked around "I don't see any chairs or wine?"He hissed slightly "Oh..I forgot! It's not a time for you to make merry, you're gonna die soon
