Chapter 6

Rose's POV.

In my room, I lay alone in bed, reflecting on the events of the past few days. Hades remains the ruler of the Underworld, a kingdom that can't rule itself. The ruler is still needed. I have recently gotten to know him a bit. He may have appeared arrogant, weird, and like a bastard on the outside, but on the inside, he was actually an insecure, cute, and adorable person which caught me by surprise since it seemed to clash with his position as Lord.

The highlight of my day was waking up in my room with him holding me. He hasn't compelled me to remain with him in his room and I was grateful for that. Though I would never admit it to him, I secretly desired and immensely enjoyed his embrace while I slept. Whenever I felt insecure or self-conscious, he would comfort me and reassure me that everything would be okay.

Although I was new to a life of luxury, I was adjusting well. I had a personal ladymaid by the name of Nana. She is a bat harpy. I have learned quite a lot about t
