knocked Into

Just after they left,a burning rage started to grow up within her. The neighbors could actually sense her fury, but that would be her nursing herself to get killed.

Nobody dares the Wakin's family. Is it money? Is it power? They had it all and they can make her varnish from the surface of the earth without a single trace. Who is she to have challenged the chief security? She is already in for a big mess! She ought to have learnt her lessons being an ex-convict, but no!

Diana exhaled deeply before she started exiting the compound. She was still wearing her torn prison canvas and the civil clothing she was given immediately after her release. A black trouser , a white top and a black long sleeved jacket.

She was enveloped with rage as she left the compound thinking of what to do.

"She needs to go get her parents out! But she can't just barge into the Wakin's abode and take them away. That would be an unreasonable option!" She thought, then something suddenly struck a cord within her. Catherine had given her an address that whenever she needed something or company, she can always go to the said location with the necklace in her possession she will get an obedient and loyal company from there.

"Guess it's time to catch in that favour...." She smiled and then deep her hands into her pockets and brought out a piece of paper. On it was written " No 10, Central Delta district!"

Without haste, she started trekking. She had no money to take a taxi or any form of transportation. The said location was however a few miles away.

The City was now booming, unlike before. On her way she saw numerous bars , nightclubs and restaurants. The city was now bustling with people and modernization definitely increased drastically over the past three years.

Right then, Diana spotted a familiar figure just as she walked past a bar called the Erotic Bar! She had been to this bar before her imprisonment. It was a bar built and made mainly and specifically for the rich, wealthy, powerful and influential people of Delta City and as such no one from a average class wealthy home goes there, let alone someone from the the lower class. But, she had been there. She used to work there weekends.

Isn't that Jason? Diana furrowed her eye brows and halted by her step and she focused and scrutinized the familiar figure. She knew him. He was his classmate. His father is one of the most powerful figures and affluent of Delta city.

In the bid to find out more and to even the score get some penny from him to hail a taxi. Diana turned and then started of towards the familiar figure who was standing before a Lamborghini Aventador. He appeared and is obviously the car owner.

Just when she was crossing the road to go meet him a black G-Wagon sped towards her and crashed into her from behind.

Bam! Crash!

Tires screeching that every passerby turned to look, some were shocked and shook their head unwittingly as Diana probably would die from the way she was sent flying.

Diana landed heavily on the floor. She would most likely have died if not for the tough trainings she had had with Catherine!

"Damnit! That was unexpected and who the hell is the crazy driver!"

Diana who had already been infuriated because of the juxtaposition of her parents situation got more angrier. Her anger got fueled the more after being run down just few minutes after she left the house.

Diana, however still lied down on the floor instead of getting up, probably because everyone would see her in a weird way. Who gets hit at such high speed and still survives without a crash on his or her skin?

As Diana lied down and in the midst of her cursing, a male voice rang out! "Why don't you ladies fucking look the road before crossing???"

Diana felt she recognized that voice. Still, she disbursed the thoughts off.

The next moment, a somewhat handsome man alighted from the black Mercedes G-wagon. He was wearing a black suit which accentuated his masculine nature. Nevertheless, his aura being exuded was anger as he stared at Diana still on the floor. He was getting late for an appointment and this commoner had just delayed his time?

"You knocked into me from behind and you have the guts to be a loud mouth instead of being sorry?" Diana retorted and she staggered and got up, pretentiously like one who was hurt....

"How? Who ? What dare you to scold me? Don't you know who I'm?" Angry Oliver said as he walked angrily towards Diana who was dusting sand from her clothes.

Meanwhile, on the other hand is Jason, who was shifting closer upon witnessing the accident that had just happened. No one would dare interfere on Oliver's business so every passerby continued with what they were doing, except Jason who was getting closer to Diana. He felt a need to get Diana medical attention. She looked strong and fit but the force she was hit?

Oliver had become a prominent powerful figure since the last three years.

Just when Oliver raised his legs to kick Diana of his way, he suddenly stopped as he felt he knew her. He knew Diana! He was shocked! He didn't expect her to return too soon. Her timing was despicable, well it's been three years.

"So, she has returned? His ex-girlfriend had returned?" He murmured with extreme shock as he returned his long legs.

"Hey ex-convict. You're finally back?" He said after he healed from the shock.

Diana on the other hand was completely flabbergasted when she heard the voice the second time. She can of course tell whose voice it was, Oliver of course! She can't forget his voice even if it were ten years. She immediately turned her face to meet the handsome figure standing in behind her and, shewas further taken aback when she truly scrutinized the figure well and confirmed it was him.

"Oliver?" She gasped, it's been three years since she last saw him.

Diana of course knew him. He was her fiancé. Three years ago, he used her as a collateral to collect one million dollar loan of hight interest to start up a business and few months after after he got the money, Diana got into trouble and was sent to three years imprisonment. Diana worked day and night to Carter for her parents and as well pay up the debts. She was not yet done paying the debt when she was forcefully put into prison. By now, the unpaid debts must have multiplied over a 10× and the loan shark would come for her upon hearing she is back.

"Wait.... "Did he call me an ex-convict? I thought we had an agreement?" She muttered.

Diana didn't expect to run into him so soon, they both had an agreement that by the time she returns, he must have become established and a successful billionaire and then they would get married.

All through her three years in the prison, he didn't bother to visit her.. that got her worried, well, now she was back and he is obviously successful.

"Wow, your timing is so perfect!" Diana heard Oliver said in a sharp voice.

"I hope you clear off the debts now that you're back!" He added.

Indeed, betrayal is never pretty. This had occured to her since he never visited or sent her messages while she was in prison. She imagined that this was not happening. That this was not the Oliver she trusted and knew.

From the car he hit her with and the expensive suit he was putting on, one could tell he was astonishingly a billionaire and Diana thought he probably must have paid the debts on her behalf and now this?

"Who would think that someone she literally sacrificed alot for would be the one calling her an ex-convict? And what was he insinuating by saying her timing was perfect? And why the fuck is he mocking her witt the debts?" Diana wondered.

Ungrateful Oliver on the other hand only smirked. He had become a successful billionaire and now close to the Wakin's family as a soon to be brother -in-law . He was getting married to the daughter of the Wakin's family and he has all the power and money he ever wanted now, what does he need a wretched ex-convict for?

His business will flourish the more immediately she makes Emily his wife. Their wedding was tomorrow.

"My wedding is tomorrow!" Oliver added.

Oliver's eyes were wide, and for a moment Diana saw the shock of betrayal in them, shock and pain, and it actually hurt; it hurt somewhere down deep in a place she thought she had buried long ago, a place that mourned the husband he might have been.

“Oliver?,” she gasped again, unable to relate to what was happening too well, she didn't wanted to believe any of it, and now the look of betrayal in his eyes was fading, and she saw the beginning spark of rage.

"Is he serious?"
