Elizabeth sat comfortably at Alan Murray's kitchen table. A cup of tea was resting near her with toasted bread and slices of cheese as the house owner was taking off her bandages to clean her burn.

Alan took a soft wet cloth and started to clean the wound gently, even tho his movements were slow and careful she still winched in pain ever so often “Do you think it will leave a mark?”

“I am afraid it will Lass, this is going to be with you for life…” He says completely sure but smiles at her “But it will be a reminder that you saved someone's life once, a person that was dear to me”

Elizabeth hissed as the burned flesh on her palm was being cared for but tried to keep high spirits “It was my pleasure, I know that Michael is very dear to you…and the type of attachment you made with him after your wife died.”
