My eyes fluttered open as I sat up in my bed. I looked over my room at my mirror. My beautiful face showed threw my bed hair. That sight made me cringe. I hated seeing this side of me, the beautiful side.

I had maneged to pick myself up off my bed and walked to my dresser. I picked out a outfit.

Another stupid Wensday at my stupid high school. Sidney Rose High School. Ugh! I shuddered even thinking about the hell hole.

In the bathroom I jumped into the hot shower after dropping my clothes. My wolf growled with pleasure as the hot water hit my skin after walking on the cold tile in my room and the bathroom in the hall.

Once I got out and was dressed I took a deep breath. I closed my eyes and let my wolf take over.

A few seconds passed and I open my eyes and saw my new ugly little face. My eyes glistened with relief seeing as my pretty face was gone.

You must be confused. No one knows about my secret power. It started one day when I was little. Everyone used to call me gorgeous and complimented me.

I had special looks that made me look very beautiful. One day I had enough. I wished I was ugly and I opened my eyes went into my kitchen and... I was ugly.

I straightened my midnight black hair that goes down to my waist and pulled it into a high pony tale. My soft grey eyes glistening in the mirror. Then I did my make up.

After my make up was finished I was ready to leave after gathering all my things there was a sudden noise.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

I jumped and opened the door quickly scared of who ever that could be that was knocking so loudly at this time.

My eyes instantly stared at a bare chest that was very muscly. I don't know why any guy would be here this is the girls bathroom and it's my turn as the schedule says.

I slowly looked up and stared at a hot and I mean hot guy. I recognized as Grayson Myers my Delta? What was he doing here?

"H-Hi" that was all I had maneged to say. The tall smoking hot guy towering over me. He had slick brunette hair that was still crazy from him sleeping. He had the hottest bed head. His brown eyes looked into mine and I noticed a hint of black in them that I hadn't noticed before.

"Move." His dark velvety voice that was still a bit raspy lingered in my ears. But I dont care how hot he is or how hot his voice is he still had no right to be rude to me. He wasn't Beta yet.

"Excuse me?" My voice had clear disrespect in it. He was not going to speak to me like that and expect me to just take it.

That had planted a surprised look on his face. I could tell that had earned me some respect with him. "I need to get ready but the guys are hoging the bathroom." He explained while lowering his eyes to mine.

No wonder Grayson needed the girls bathroom the guys never listen to the schedule.

They all go in at the same time. I shook myself out of my thoughts and looked back into his eyes.

"Oh, okay then." I stepped aside and was about to walk back to my room when he stopped me again.

"Have a good day Emma" I turned around surprised. He actually sounded genuine. I didnt even know he knew my name.

"You too" I smiled as I said that. It was sweet that he had cared. I turned around and walked back to my room.

It was nice thinking he actually cared about something other than his plastic girlfriend Nadia. I have seen her cheat on him plenty but I've seen him do the same. Though he isn't a player.

Once I was back in my room I was still smiling. I dont know why but I was really happy that Grayson was so kind.

Even though I was very much not going to be the main character in a new romance novel where the Beta ended up being my mate and we fell in love. Me being the ugly nobody that didnt know she was a werewolf and ended up being a special one. He was the hot ass Beta that helped me.

Makes me sick just thinking about the cliche books that my bestfriend Ruby Black reads. As you can tell she's a hopeless romantic. She cant wait to find her mate.

One of the things that keeps me and Ruby so close is we have the same birthday.

We both turn 17 in 1 week. Which means that we both shift for the first time in a week.

She's so happy that she will be able to find her mate in a week.

In the kitchen I was eating some french toast for breakfast that my mom had cooked.

Her job in the Night Walker pack was the Cook also she is a Guardian. My father's job in the Night Walker pack is a Sentinel. My older sister Bonnie is a Hunter. I am going to become a Salutary after I transformed so was Ruby.

"Mrs. Heart its delicious, thank you" Ruby had voiced her opinion on my mother's food as she stood next to me. She had such a soft and caring voice.

"Thank you sweet-" My mother had been cut short as the sound of complete yelling had come from the living room. It was a man and a woman from the sounds of it. The males voice sounded familiar.

Me and Ruby had rushed to the living room to see what was happening. I may not like cliche romance books that fill your mind with lies but I do enjoy a good bit of drama.

Once we made it to the living room I stopped Nadia and Grayson had stood in the middle of the living room yelling at one another in the open. Having no respect for anyone else in the room.

My eyes instantly went on the three cubs that were close to the yelling and were scared for there life.

You could see it in the tiny fragile eyes.

I loved kids and I hated seeing them so upset and scared in there own home.

My body instantly filled with anger as I jerked my eyes back to the yelling couple. Perfect fit as you can tell.

When I was about to blow my top and voice my very creative opinion about there yelling my right pant leg got a tiny tug from a little hand.

I looked down at the little 4 year old girl I babysit, Jean Brown. My eyes instantly softened and I realized yelling would only get me in trouble and scare the kids more. I bent down to Jean's level to talk to her.

"Come on angel let's go in the kitchen with Rosie and Andrew" My soft soothing voice took over as the couple stopped yelling looked at me talking to Jean.

Looking up at the couple that had finally shut up I just got angry again. "Don't. Move." I gritted through my teeth at the couple. As I stood and grabbed Jean's hand and walked to the kitchen. Ruby not far behind with Rosie and Andrew.

My wolf was pissed as well. I was happy my wolf and I were on the same page.

Leaving the sweet innocent cubs with my mother and Ruby waiting for there parents. I stormed back to the living room to now voice my creative opinion that had since gotten more creative with each step. I was fuming.

In the living room having my wolf change my eyes to a bright yellow color. I stood infront of the couple taking comfort when there faces both collected fear looking me in the eyes.

A mad wolf was a dangerous wolf.
