Chapter 8- Damian

Being with Damian is amazing, is this how it always is or is it just because of him. I mean, i know i don't particularly have prior knowledge but everything with him is just perfect and easy. Despite meeting him just yesterday.

We leave the lounge sometime late at night, heading toward the resorts, I'm in the dry clothe he got me. It's a blue and white ankle length flowy floral dress with a tiny strap. I let me hair down freeing it from the clips I used in the morning, it's wet so it's not so messy but the curly waves can still be seen.

We stopped at one of the restaurants, "You need to eat something fiorelliona." he said flatly.

It was no lie, tiredness and hunger were gradually sipping into my body. We sit then order our food.

His brow is arched together like he is deep in worry or thoughts. I place my hands on his across the table.

"Damian is everything okay?" I say quietly.

He gives a smile, "Everything is good, today's just been one of a kind."

   Damian's POV

I'm not one to fawn over a woman, they do the chasing themselves, always hovering over me non stop yet here I was with Cassie. I'll admit when I saw her in the ship I was a bit taken aback by her, she stood her ground even when I tried to intimidate her. Sure I was a bit skeptical when she walked in on me hiding out there cause over the years a lot of women have gone to great lengths just to fake scenarios just to be with me.

Seeing her at the evening party that was being hosted by my company to celebrate the new resorts we just acquired, I didn't know if it was just coincidence but I walked up to her before I could even stop myself, she seemed really bored as she stepped out of the party.

"You look really lost in thought fiorelliona." I whispered.

"It's you" she said in a daze. She seemed genuinely surprised to see me.

"Were you thinking of me just now." I say with slight humor trying to tease her. I find that I enjoy teasing her. The night went smoothly, I show her different places I went to when I came here with the prospect of investing and acquiring resorts here. Like I said to her, I like to be thorough when doing any work, I like to know what I'm getting and figure out any loopholes, I didn't like to be taken unawares. 

So you imagine how surprised I was when I found out she was virgin, she had spoken about her ex and how she caught him cheating but I never imagined that they had never been intimate before. I was particular about the kind of women I had in my bed and virgins were excluded for a reason.

I wasn't looking to settle down so it didn't make sense to string any innocent woman on after taking her virginity. The women I always were with knew what they were getting into and knew my stand on things, we just had fun and that was all, no strings attached. I always checked their backgrounds so as not to complicate things, after an incident that I experienced when I was in the university.

I just had sex with a virgin and I didn't even know how to react to it, all I could say to her then was, "Fiorelliona, your first time isn't just something you should do on a whim with any guy." I say as gently as I can.

This was unlike me, I was acted impulsively when it came to her which I rarely did. I should have requested a background check before approaching her. So when she went to the bathroom that night to fix herself, I called my assistant Pedro, asking him for a background check on her, she was staying in one of our resorts so it wasn't that hard to find out everything about her. I watched her closely as she stepped out of the bathroom and I couldn't resist reaching out to tuck strands of her hair back. What was wrong with me, this woman is a risk but I couldn't seem to get her out of my system, we just had sex but I still craved her.

What if I had already fallen into a well crafted plan. I couldn't think straight, just once I told myself, I already had sex with her which cannot be undone, just one more time to get her out of my system and to make up for any slip up there may have been during the first round.

My assistant sent me the file on her very early this next morning. It contained everything about her on paper, where she was born, her family, education, where she worked, even her friends. He told me that was what he could get for the time being and requested permission to undercover more information. Well, that's Pedro for you, ever effective but I told him I was satisfied with this, maybe I was being reckless but I guess I wanted to know more from her.

I went out for my morning run as usual but when I got back to the resort she was gone and she barely touched the breakfast I decided to go to the resort she was lodged at to see if she was there and there she was, at the restaurant having her breakfast.

"Here you are farfallina, you barely touched your breakfast in the room." I tease her.

I must say, I enjoy teasing her, watching her blush while she tries desperately to maintain her cool and look unbothered was nice unlike most women that constantly surrounded my daily life. While I was enjoying teasing her, I notice scarlet, she had been all over me, especially when we had the little party on the cruise ship to celebrate the Voss-Delaroz partnership. One of the reasons I slipped into that part of the ship to avoid her and other unnecessary attention.

This little treasure had no idea who I was. I told myself that this was just me hanging out with someone who didn't know anything about me and enjoying it. I must say I've had the one of the best times of my life today with Cassie. Just touring and trying out things, she discovered new things she liked today and it was just nice watching her take bold steps and have fun.

Speaking of bold steps, she even initiated the amazing sex we had at dusk. She seemed to be getting wilder with me, I definitely was a bad influence not that any one is complaining. The crazy aspect of all this was the more time I spend with her the more I keep wanting to have her by my side. It's crazy but I keep enjoying every detail about to, even the way she casually emulates my shrug.

"How about we go straight to the resort from here." I say, I was getting whipped by this little butterfly and I doubt she knew it.

She stared at me, "Oh, um okay."
