Michelle BarrettHello! I've had several readers comment on my update schedule and I want to address this. Please understand I have a very demanding FT job and I write on the side. I am doing my very best to get chapters out quickly when they are finished and edited. I refuse to put out bad work, therefore I polish these chapters as best as I can before putting them on GN. I would rather have fewer quality chapters vs. lots of chapters that are badly written. I am aiming to increase my update schedule to 3-4x/wk, but please remember it takes a lot of time and effort to get chapters out and I am doing my best with what little time I have. Thank you for your understanding and continued reading.

Originally, the basement of the packhouse was where the prisoners were kept. JOSH POV I finally got semi-comfortable on this unsupportive cot. It took forever and it didn’t seem to matter what I tried, everything hurt my shoulder. Still does, but I was finally able to fall into a bit of a fitful and uncomfortable sleep. I decided to try and sleep when the sun came up and no one other than the guard had come to see me. The way that they have reacted to me being here and on their territory, reiterates that their existence is a big secret.
