For the fifth time this morning, she scanned herself at the full-body mirror. She did her usual makeup. Hindi masyadong matapang. Sapat lang para magkaroon ng kulay ang mukha niya. She also straightened and dusted her body-con dress. It is black, and it highlighted her milky complexion. She looks just like her old self.

Or not.

She may have done her makeup the way she did it before, and she may have styled herself the way she used to. But there is a huge difference with how she looks like now. Her dress is in a much smaller size. Malaki na rin ang pinayat ng mga braso niya. And the hollow on her cheeks is getting worse each day.
