This wave of energy appeared out of nowhere, and caught Zephyr by surprise, regardless of his power. He was paralyzed. “Who dares trespass on my land!” A booming voice rang out from the face of the cliff, it’s voice old and stern. “It’s a Khan, Zephyr Khan, here to meet with the Old Khan!” replied Zephyr loudly. “Zephyr Khan?” the voice replied, it had a curious tone. Borrowing strength from the Way, Zephyr’s Earth-shatterer was augmented greatly, this allowed him to bypass the two Agiles’ power. “Don’t get too cocky yet, boy!” a voice rang out, they then sent forth another blast of energy. Two blasts formed above Zephyr, akin to palms, and it crashed down upon him. ‘Oh crap,’ Zephyr thought, unexpecting of their power. “Take this, our combined might! Heaven’s Palm!” their voices rang out. This attack was too much for Zephyr to bear, not even Earth-shatterer could stop it. Zephyr was forced to take a few steps back. “You forced our Heaven’s Palm… impressive, now leave!” a voice ordered. “I am not leaving until I get an audience!” Zephyr calmly said, and gathered himself. Zephyr flashed his sword, it sent him and his sword into a dance of death, deflecting here, slashing there, slicing here, stabbing there, all the while accompanied by the roars of a dragon. Even though he was faced with the Elders’ onslaught, he had no intention of backing down. Their powers crashed with each other, it shattered the breeze, the air, and even the silence around them. “Zephyr my boy, I’m so sorry,” Typhoon’s tone was wracked with guilt. He raised his head slowly, an old visage stared back at Zephyr. Typhoon had aged a lot, regardless, Zephyr knew the old man before him was really his grandfather – Typhoon Khan. “Grandfather, what happened? Why are your energies so low, so weak? “Hmph, this is nothing!” Zephyr huffed, his eyes suddenly beamed with light. He let out a roar which signaled the coming of the Way, and manifested draconic energies to wipe out the intrusion. Roar, after roar, after roar, it all stormed out of Zephyr, thundering the palace. Typhoon and the Old Khan could only watch in shock as Zephyr expelled the bad energy out of his body through wisps of dark smoke. It was the Way of the Dragon after all. A great tremor shook the realm, followed by the revelation of a great serpent, with that, it burst forth from the sea of clouds. In the boundless realm within Zephyr, this beast towered like no other, its length spanned hundreds of feet long, its body emanating a deadly aura. It was a Winged Serpent!
