I watched as my princess got in bed after changing her clothes.

Her brothers had barely let her go to head back to the house, both of them being very excited to actually see her back, Nina spent hours hugging her, holding her in her arms, as if her arms would protect her from the world, and I, well, I wouldn’t even describe what I would do to protect my mate after having her back, I could tell that she was still fragile, even Daniel noticed her flinching a few times whenever she saw anyone coming too close to her, stopping them by either letting out a low growl or simply glaring at them, I swear that man was frightening when he wanted to be.

Diana had excused herself for the evening to be with her husband, both her and Daniel didn’t leave our sides for as long as Kiara was asleep, but now they figured that we’d want our alone time, and they wanted theirs too.

“How are you feeling?” I asked Kiara softly, my arm wrappin
