I sit on the chair placing Sagel down on my lap. She shifts in my lap uncomfortably as she holds the table edge for support. I wrap my arm around her waist, supporting her earning death glares from everyone at the table.
" Why is she sitting on your lap ?" Adelia questions, raising an eyebrow at me.
