"Mrs Hardy?" I called more like in a questioning way. I guess I can now see how blue eyes here knows my name.
"Hey Anastasia, you made it. Frankly, I thought you wouldn't come." She smiled at me hugging me from the side. I didn't hug her back.
"I didn't think I would meet you here." I said to her as she leads me towards the mansion.
"Well.... Here I am. Anyway, before we go in.... You should know you are kind of a celebrity around here." She whispered in my ear.
I stared at her confuse, "What do you mean?"
"I'm just giving you a heads-up. Anyway, we shouldn't keep everyone waiting, they would all be feeling so impatient to meet you. Anastasia please meet the family." She grinned at me, as she opened the door of the mansion.
"Wow." Was the only thing that could come out of my lips. This is like a whole village in here. *The family* is so much more than a family.
"Welcome Anastasia, I'm so glad you could make it." An elderly, okay not so elderly... but agile man came forward to shake my hand. One look at him, I could tell he his blues father. The resemblance is so clear.
"I am Christian father, I hope he didn't put you through much trouble just to get you here?" He asked, shaking my fragile hands with so much agility.
So... Christian is blue eyes name, well... I still prefer blue eyes. So I'm sticking with blue eyes.
"You can call me Mr Grey." The man went on to say. He is a real talkative unlike his son. The words blue eyes know, are; Dragons are real, you are the witch that's going to save me and my people. That's just all. Nothing else. His head is full with dragon nonsense.
"Grey, let her come in. Great-gran is waiting for her." Mrs hardy yells, from inside the house. So, I'm guessing great gran mean great grand father.
"This way, miss Anastasia." Mr Grey said, showing me the way inside.
He took me to a really big hall... and the rest of the people standing at the entrance of the house followed closely behind. I thought I had seen the whole family, nope! I actually met more in the really great hall.
This place could be taken as the size of an arena. Really big. I know the mansion is really gigantic, but isn't this too big to be inside the mansion.
There was an elderly man sitting right at the middle of the arena, he looks so old and really fragile. I fear he could drop dead at just any moment.
A chair was placed right in front of great-gran, I'm guessing that's my seat. I am right, it is my seat.
I sat down awkwardly staring at great-gran, feeling so uneasy.
"I never thought the day would come, when I would meet the offspring of Arkalis. I thought I would have joined my ancestors. I am glad to have set my eyes upon you, before I joined my ancestors." He smiled warmly at me. For a man who looks like he could die at anytime, he actually has a great and strong voice.
"Arkalis?" I questioned.
"Yes Arkalis. He is the name of the sorcerer that made the spell. The one responsible for men turning to dragons. And you are the descendants of that man." Mrs hardy answered.
"Based on your teaching Mrs hardy, I could tell this whole spell thing/ dragon thing happened a really long time ago. Which means there was like a bunch of other descendants/offspring right before me. So why couldn't any of them put an end to the spell." I asked thoughtfully.
"That's because no one has his magic. They all had magic, but not Arkalis magic. Every wizard before dying, they had to pass on their magic to someone they feel is worthy of it. Arkalis didn't pass his magic, and so... the magic can only choose the next worthy person. And that worthy person, is you." Mrs hardy pats me on the shoulder lovingly.
"We are not really sure about that yet, Anastasia. We would have to check if you are indeed the offspring with Arkalis magic." Blue eyes said coming to stand next to me.
"Ohh, I have a feeling she is the one." Mrs hardy smiled at me.
"Yeah, you had that feeling for the that three we found." Blue eyes snort.
"Last three?" I questioned.
"Yeah, your relatives. Same age as you." Blue eyes answered. So I have relatives, and none of them had ever thought of coming for me. I thought my parents didn't have any living relatives.
"So... how are you going to know that I have Arkalis magic in me?" I still don't believe all what blue eyes said, but it won't hurt to play along. I feel very amused by the whole situation.
"Well there's been plenty of descendants of Arkalis, and all we can do is test them with the staff of Arkalis." Great-Gran answered.
"Arkalis staff?"
"Yes Anastasia, if you truly are the one we are looking for... the white diamond on the staff will shine really bright." Great-Gran smiled at me warmly, signifying for the staff to be brought.
A lady walked up to us, the staff laying on her palm.
"Take it." Great-gran instructed.
I gulped nervously, taking the staff from the lady. At first it didn't glow... there was no reaction from the light. Whispers could be heard in the hall.
"I guess she's not the one."
"I knew it couldn't be her."
"Another waste of our time." And so many more.
I was about handing the staff back to the lady, when it began to glow, just a small glow at first... then it became bigger, the light shined across the room.
"Oh my God. You are the one, you are with Arkalis blood." Great-Gran exclaimed, hugging me really tightly.
I just stayed unmoved, not knowing what to do.
"This calls for celebration." Mrs Hardy yelled.
Everyone yells in agreement with Mrs Hardy, shouts of happiness could be heard from all corners.
I just stood in the middle of it so confused.
"I don't think this means anything. I have never exhibited any sign of magic, in my whole life." I said to no one in particular.
I just wish I will wake up and see that this is all nothing but a dream, at this point I could become as crazy as them. I would definitely need therapist after all this madness.
Blue eyes father placed a hand on my shoulder, "That doesn't mean a thing Ana, sometimes magic takes times to show itself. Your magic might just be waiting for the right time, that's all. Anyway, this belong to you." He hands over the staff to me and I took it from him. The staff glows for a little while then stops.

"Miss Anastasia! Miss Anastasia are you awake! Miss Anastasia!!" I groaned on opening my eyes, who the heck is yelling and banging on my door at such an early hour in the morning.
Staring at the door made me realize that it wasn't actually my room door, and neither is the room am sleeping in. Where the fuck am I? And why in the world is my head banging? Did I drink?
I stood up from the bed, staggered over to the door and then opened it for whoever is knocking. Mrs Hardy!! Why is she here. Ohh my God, how could I have forgotten that I am in the house of mad people that actually believe i am a witch who would save them from their dragon nonsense. Yup, I totally forgot.
"You must have had a hangover from last night. Take this, it would help." She stretches a bowl to me, the content of the bowl looks like tea, but I'm not so sure.
I stared at the bowl thoughtfully, wondering if I should drink it.
"If we were going to poison you, I believe we would have done that yesterday during the party." She shakes her head.
I smiled then drank the whole content of the bowl in one goal. "Fuck! That's bitter." I spat out handing over the empty bowl back to her.
"Yeah it it, but it will help with your hangover. Anyway, come with me." She said already walking away. I followed her quickly.
"Where are we going?"
"Just be patient, you would see." She grins at me, then continued walking.
We walked to the entrance of the mansion, with her hands on the doorknob she asked... "So Anastasia, are you ready to be amazed?"
"Okay... I guess I am."
She smiled with so much enthusiasm, then swings the doors open.
I couldn't move, it was like time stopped flowing, my eyes was bigger, unconsciously I had to pinch myself.
"Is either I'm going crazy, or there's a real bunch of dragons right before my eyes."
"I can't let you do this." Mrs Tabitha opposed strongly of my idea on how I want to fight Abaddon. "I wasn't asking for anybody's permission . This is my decision to make and my mind is made up on it." I replied deadpan not backing down from her piercing gaze."If things go south and Abaddon ends up defeating you in there, you would end up dead." Sir Adalard muttered worriedly."But if I end up winning, I would put an end to Abaddon's reign." I retorts."That is a big if right there, Ana." Uncle Mateo mumbles under his breathe. I sighed. "I really... really do need you guys to trust me on this. I know I can defeat Abaddon this way. I just know it." "I believe in her." Christian voiced out, squeezing my hand. I smiled at him thankfully."Fine. We would all trust you on this then." Sir Adalard resigns."No I don't. I am not part of the we." Mrs Tabitha voiced."I know you are worried that you would loose her, just like you lost Amelia, but you have to trust your granddaughter on thi
I was in the year 15 BC again or probably before that. How did I know? The horses, the dressing style and of course everything in particular."You are not in the past, this is more like a dream. Your dream." Arkalis voice came from behind me."How and why are you in my dream?" I raised an eyebrow staring at him attentively wondering if this is another mind game of Abaddon."Because I'm dead and there's something I want to show you. Something I never knew of while I was alive." He answered walking past me.I stood still watching him leave... "I am not Abaddon and this isn't a mind trick, so hurry up student." Arkalis yelled. Even if it's Abaddon what do I have to loose following him?I hurried off to where Arkalis was standing, then walked by his side."Is this a palace?" I asked as Arkalis came to an halt Infront of a really big gate, the guards standing watch gave it away."Nope, it's a house with palace guards in it, cause the king was really generous enough to lend some of his gu
“Lucas, how can it be Lucas? I can’t believe he killed my daughter and framed Reeve.” Mrs Tabitha utters in shock pacing my tiny room. Finding out Lucas is terror isn’t really completely shocking to me, not like I knew the man so well… I’m just glad Abaddon isn’t really someone close to me. I should have suspected him, he laughed just like terror, and also read my mind with ease. Wait, Lucas knew the witches would try to hide me in the safe house so he changed into a pink haired girl and made sure I stepped out. So he controlled those teachers to leave. Wow. He wants to end me, but before he those that I should end him. I should think of a way to use this new found information to my own benefit. I think I have the perfect plan, it should work.“I have a plan on how we could stop Abaddon, but we might need some help. How much do you trust the elders?” I asked staring at her determined. “With my life.” She replied without hesitation.“Then we need to call for a meeting.” *******
"Christian!!" I yelled out waking up from my deep slumber."Hey.. shhhh. It's okay, I got you." Christian whispered calming me down. I took notice of my surroundings... I'm in my room back in hudrats, my head is currently on Christian's thighs and we are not alone. Mrs Rowena and Mrs Tabitha are both here.I stared out the window and it's sunny outside. I must have slept for about six hours, seeing it's sunny outside."Thank goodness you are awake, I was so worried." Mrs Rowena said worriedly hastily drawing her stool closer to the bed, she takes my hands and rubs affectionately."What were you thinking going out there Anastasia! You knew very clearly that you do not have your powers and without them you can't protect yourself. If Christian hadn't come right on time, you had be dead." Mrs Tabitha lashed at me, her eyes holding anger and what seem to be worry."Tabitha! The girl just woke up." Mrs Rowena exclaimed in disbelief."The dragon... Christian.. how?" I thought it was all a d
“What??? How is that even possible. This is HUDRATS! He can’t waltz his way into here.” Rowena throws her hands up in the air in shock.“Well he is already here and most of the teachers are already trying to stop him, so we need to get going Rowena those teachers won’t be able to hold him down.” Gunther said trying to catch his breathe. “What about Adalard and the rest?” Rowena asked walking towards the door. I followed.“Already sent some teachers to go get him and the others.” Gunther replied.I was about following Rowena out the door of the kitchen when she came to an halt, she turns around and stared at me. “You can’t come Anastasia.” Rowena pats me on the shoulder sadly. “I can’t just stay in here. Maybe a face off with Abaddon is what I need to bring back my power. Please Rowena, I should be out there fighting.” I argued, my eyes pleading.“And what if you don’t get your powers back?” She raised an eyebrow. “I…” I was about arguing further but she stopped me with a hush. “I
Britney’s POV:“Please tell me that man “is” the last man.” I said to Carl, fanning my face with my bare hand. I feel so tired and hungry. If my house wasn’t destroyed I would really love to soak my tired self in my bathtub, or go for a dip in the swimming pool.“Yup, that’s the last.” Carl replied folding a big poly bag. I accompanied Mrs Maria and some young men from the clan about my age, to hand out incentives to the people affected by the earthquake. Most of this people lost their homes, jobs, families and a lot more. Mrs Maria can’t give them back their lives and so handing out food, clothes, bed and a warm blanket is all we could do. If witches were to go around the world repairing broken earth, houses, companies and all.. that would be one suspicious movement and also there’s not a lot of those witches to even help with the movement. “We should head back to the van.” Carl suggested. I would love to step back and just admire this young fineeeee man standing in-front of me,
